And to be honest, neuroscience shows us that frontal lobe development in males is not complete until age 25, whereas it is fully developed in females by age 20.

So to be able to be mature, a male must be 25 and only then can he start accumulating adult judgment. A 25 year old women will be much more mature with five years of adult judgment while her male counterpart has zero years of adult judgment. At this point in time it matters.

It won't matter nearly as much in 20 years though.

And having both sons and daughters in their early 20s, I can attest to this. The 25 year old boy is much less mature than his 23 year old sister.

Ahhh ..... ageism ... the one form of discrimination that everyone can participate in. Quite often, male subs, in the mixed company of male dominants, face the stigma of being seen as less than manly or expected to play the meek and meager role of subservient bravo dog. Place him in the age range of ~40yrs and up, and the stigma of decreased libido and virility come into play. Sighs ... it can be a hard, cold, world .... <laughs>.

Pffft. There are plenty of women in their forties and fifties that don't want a man younger than himself. Off the top of my head, I can think of two men in the Colorado community who have no issue finding appreciative Dommes. One is Otterswim, who's active on collarme. A couple more are in service to the same Domme in a poly house.

I have no clue why you think that male subs are in competition with male Doms. We're fishing in different pools.

..... If it "wasn't about the money" .... then she wouldn't be charging you. My advice ... drop her like a bad chili dog, get involved in your local BDSM scene ... be sincere ... be genuine ... be respectful and polite ...and the need for a "tribute" will disappear.

I didn't say male subs are in competition with male Doms. What I stated is that, quite often, male subs are looked down upon my male Doms.
