SoapyOne -> RE: Chastity devices downsides (12/26/2013 8:03:21 PM)

We have been into male chastity for about 13 years. From leather and steel, to silicon devices, hard plastic and metal. With the exception of full belts or a Prince Albert lock, we have tried most of the "Off the Shelf" devices (mentioned above - and yes, it can get expensive.) Every device we have tried, can be pulled out of at the base, to include the Kali's Teeth Bracelet if it is only locked around the shaft, (This is a great item for torture if you are into pain in the genital area.) The harder plastic devices such as the CB2000, CB3000 and CB6000 we have tried and they have had the plastic cage split and at times the rings break around the posts. I wore them 24x7 sometimes up to 73 days at a time. Usually, they don't stay on that long, as there are always either supervised cleanings or Mistress wants to have intercourse, etc. So, cleaning and hygene is extremely important. That being said, currently in a CB6000s and the cage has not had the "zipper" effect from splitting and catching the penis skin in it when it closed back up. (Yes, it is painful.) The rings when sized incorrectly on non-belt type devices can cause all the effects mentioned above, to include tearing the skin when stretched, depending on the tightness of the ring. The biggest complain isn't with the plastic splitting, it happens, it is with the rings not adhearing to the body, as the space between the ring and the back of the shaft, the human body changes with heat, cold, motion, and the biggest complaint is that one testical or the other always seems to find a way to squeeze out of the ring when excersizing or bouncing around (just one of those things that happen.) This gives the feeling of the nut being busted, but then the device basically falls off. Metal rings we found had the unfortunate habit of having weld spikes sticking out of them, requiring filing down, but by the time you have a penis locked in place and then growth happening, it is to late to realize what is happening. This too can cause punctures in the skin which is not recommended for long term use, obviously. There has been no issues with urination or climaxing without the cages on. Urination with the cages requires sitting... I have tried it standing and it is not a good thing. I work out at home so I don't go to the gym, so that isn't an issue with me as it is for some people. We use plastic luggage locks when travelling and have not had issues even when going through airports (plastic cage and rings for travelling.) Generally I can request to be released for medical reasons, for taking care of business and for cleanings and Mistress is very good about it. She also likes to tease which reminds me there is a cage on. I would agree with the comments above about getting what you pay for and to experiment. You have to have trust in your partner when using chastity devices, as I haven't found a device yet I can't get out of, non-belt types, that is. So, I try to be honest when in the CB series, as I know if I really need out for an emergency, there are no issues with it in our relationship.
