Hitler's health insurance is cancelled. LMAO. This boondoggle Obama has unleashed is quite frankly, insane.

And a Colorado woman got what she asked for. She championed it. Why is she complaining? Didn't she understand what she was getting into?

Wagner and her husband retired early. She was a nurse for 35 years and championed Obamacare, until she received a letter from her insurance company saying it was canceling her policy.

“I was really shocked … all of my hopes were sort of dashed,” Wagner said. “’Oh my gosh President Obama, this is not what we hoped for, it’s not what we were told.’ “

She was shocked further to learn that for the same coverage she would pay 35 percent more and have a higher deductible.

“Our premium for next year is going up to over $1,000 a month for two of us and we’re two fairly healthy individuals,” Wagner said.

It's not what she was told? Of course it wasn't, but it's what many said it would be. All she had to do was pay attention. Run the numbers instead of the feel-good Obamacare promised.

Is she that stupid to not understand that even the ACA is a marketplace, subject to inviolate market rules which have a natural reaction to unnatural interference? Besides, it's the law. Right?

The continual gnashing of teeth of ACA supporters is unbelievable. Luckily, she'll have dental as she grinds her teeth down to nubs. And mental health too. She may need it now.

Here's another one.

This is probably the most heart breaking story from the Obamacare debacle yet. A South Carolina man was diagnosed with cancer and his old insurance was providing him with the doctors and treatment he needed, but that insurance has been cancelled because Obamacare regulations. His new options are so expensive that he’s decided to give up and “let nature take its course” rather than put his family under the financial strain of paying for the new insurance that Obamacare requires.

I truly hope that some generous folks out there will reach out and help this man and his family financially. No person should have to choose between complying with a government mandate and death.

But for Obamacare he had what he needed. I agree that, "No person should have to choose between complying with a government mandate and death." But that's exactly what he did do when he voted for Obama and his promises. This consequence he's experiencing is not the choice. The choice was actually at the ballot box. He voted for the mandate.

So sorry.

The more heartbreaking they are, the more likely to be true, right?

It's going to be interesting to see just how long it takes the Obamabots to figure out how bad their self-inflicted wound is.

I'm not reading into anything on this most recent election. We are only at the beginning of middle America feeling the impact of this law.

guess its a case of "Be careful what you wish for.."

on the positive side, she has gotten her 15 minutes of fame..

maybe Obama will hear about her plight and declare her & her hubby an exception along with the exception granted to the politicians, govt workers, union members, etc etc..

The 'I already have an insurance plan coming out of my pay check, and it hasn't changed a bit' exemption? Yeah, I've got the same exemption.

That's the one I have too, except the price, which had been going up $30-40 bucks a month every year, went up damn near $200 a month for this year, and that was enough to make sure this household couldn't keep the plan we liked.

We're the lucky ones. I'm on my wife's plan through her job. She works for a huge national company. Ours went up $250 a month and the deductible is $250 higher. Those who had been buying their own policies have been priced out of the market with comparable policies going up anywhere from 4 or 5 hundred to 900.00 or more with deductibles going up by the thousands. They will have nothing or end up on Medicaid assuming they qualify.

FR-

its sorta strange, isn't it?.. that a plan to provide health care coverage to a segment of the population who couldn't afford it has created a new segment of people who cant afford it.. I am not quite sure where the "win" is in all this mess..

The real problem, the one the libs can't see yet, is that all their fearmongering about Republicans in recent years has been based on threats that Republicans were going to force their values into the lives of regular Americans. Of course, that is exactly what the Democrats have done, and in a way that directly impacts the wallets and lives of the great middle.

You do know that for anyone under 400% of the poverty level there is a subsidy to buy health insurance right?

I really don't see it as being "self-inflicted". I remember people...Democrats, Republicans, and everyone else...complaining about the rising cost of health care ever since I joined the work force back in the early '70's. I remember almost every year the amount taken out of my pay for health care went up and up, and the deductibles went up and up as well. It didn't matter who controlled the House, the Senate, or the Oval Office. Nothing was done about it. The problem was simply ignored.

Until Obama. He promised to try to reform health care, and once he was in office he tried to do just that.

As I remember it, he asked the Republicans to join in, offer their input, and make it a bi-partisan deal. But the Republicans were all butt hurt from losing the election, so they crossed their arms, put a big pout on their faces, and refused to cooperate on anything Obama tried to do, regardless of how it effected the country.

So the resulting health care bill was every bit as much to blame on Republicans for their lack of participation, as it is the Democrats for at least trying to do something, even though it is FAR from perfect. And BOTH parties are to blame for not having done something years ago, when it would have been more easily addressed.

Make what a bi-partisan deal? Healthcare reform or Obama's view as to Healthcare Reform?

Obama wanted Rs on his train, within his view of just what and where such train should go. This is NOT to say that any R plan would be better, as Rs are most definately more corporately tied than Ds. The problem is that true reform, like true banking reform, would take what neither side wants to take. They'd be slitting their own throats as to, i.e. donations.

You say it yourself, and what has really changed?

"It didn't matter who controlled the House, the Senate, or the Oval Office."

Then I'll call bullshit on both of you.

Personally, I'm just enjoying the hell out of this latest spin. "The problem with Obamacare implementation is that the Republicans didn't help."

Translation being, "Democrats are utterly incompetent, when left to their own devices."
