This is what direction the current U.S. govt. is headed in, the "state" getting involved in all the business of The People and trying to dictate what they can and cannot do. Thomas Jefferson was right, we need to hang (in public) politicians on a regular schedule. And no, we shouldn't be getting involved in foreign countries like Syria, Libya, Haiti, Somalia, Egypt, the Sudan or any other country. We're just not getting the right type of people in govt.
