quote:
ORIGINAL: MariaB I think coloured rope is a very subjective thing. I like the visual of the naked model and I don't like the rope to stand out more than the subject who is being bound. This, right here...! You can find images of naked women anywhere, not that it ever gets boring. Still, too much of a good thing and all that, one tends to look without really looking, if you know what I mean. Now, add even a hint of a restraint or anything that can be construed as a collar and yours truly is noticing every little detail of said image. Which is where my 3rd rule of bondage comes from. It's not enough that my girl is bound safely yet securely, there's 2 parts to the finished.... errrr.... article/product here. Her naked form complemented by aesthetically pleasing (to me) bondage. And nothing spoils that balance like too much bondage. Or messy rope work, or loose ends etc. Hasta be the whole package or I'm not happy so I take the time that needs to be taken. So both the amount of rope is subjective to what you're trying to achieve as is the colour matching personal taste and the particular bound subject. Focus.
