I'm not saying your friend is racist, I'm just saying the shit was under the carpet for the whites, I don't even know what racial group was this friend of yours. By the way apartheid was a crime it never got prosecuted but it stands a crime, so even if homicide and theft rates raised it's less likely to be victim of a crime this days in SA.

FR Hmmm. I seem to have missed the fun stuff, here. Oh well. Change in South Africa could have easily become a bloody genocide, or a horrific civil war. Under the hand of Mandela, it didn't. May he rest in peace, after his long labors for what he believed in.
