ORIGINAL: SimplyMichael If anyone is serious about pulling this place out of its current state, some serioious ass kissing and apologies as well as polite requests to return just might go a long way to enticing a few of them to return. Without people of stature here, this will always be a way station and bleeding off of members will continue which just makes the signal to noise ratio get worse and worse. Content and value will drive the presence of "people of stature," not ass kissing. For example, I would love to have a History section here, and trawl the History of the Lifestyle group on Fet for content I could post here, so all that amazing material would be searchable and indexable. I don't have the time for it right now though. Unless there is world-class content here, all the ass kissing in the world won't mean a thing, even if it's deserved (which I'm not sure of in some cases, tbh, that one supporter you mention was typing some pretty crazy things on CM Refugees the last time I checked, a couple years ago). Incidentally, if changing profile buttons is at all a possibility, "Just Here for the Forums" seems as important an addition as "Top" and "Bottom."
