Okay, I'm sure my brand of stoopid may be over the top for most of you... Except Hup, but here goes anyway.

I usually have this intriguing dialogue with my inner moron as I am composing a reply to a post... Well, my inner moron just hit me with something I found very funny (any of you denying conversations with your inner moron are just in denial):

Me: pondering snarky remark
Inner moron: hmmmm... Tourette's!
Me: rethinking snarky remark, which leads to more snark.
Inner moron: ooh Tourette's again!
Me: sifting through the thread to retrain and refrain from snark.
Inner moron: I'm standing by the Tourette's syndrome, cuz you know snark is coming.
Me: (to inner moron) has it ever occurred to you that I might just be an asshole?
Inner moron: that sounds like something someone with Tourette's would say.

Other than the fact I have these little chin wags going on with my inner moron, I suspect he may like me and is trying to protect me from the harsh reality that I may be an asshole.

Soooo.... Do you have any "have you evers" you'd like to share?

This thread brought to mind a recent text exchange with my brother. Apparently my filter ain't what it used to be.

Him: So you're seeing the surgeon tomorrow, right? Will the [seriously uncomfortable] drain [in my rectum] come out?

Me: Yes. If he doesn't remove it, I'll yank it out myself.

Him: Thanks for that lovely visual.

Me: Sorry! Cancer has coarsened me, I fear.

Him: Too true!

Me: Hey! That was your cue to say I'm as gracious as ever.

Him: Do you read your own email updates?

Exiled, I never outgrew my inner moron. Took an online test last week. Asks for your real age, 50, you answer a bunch of questions, gives you your mental age. Turns out mine is 20. My dad and Mister Man will both tell you that's no surprise. My dad, not in a good way, MM I make laugh alla time.

My inner moron gets me into a fair bit of trouble..but it has a sick sense of humour and is a constant delight.I think Im stuck at 22 Pooh:) and im 52 in feb:)
growing old is mandatory, growing up isnt.

Yes, my inner filter is down right now due to this health issue.

I am finding it challenging to remain gracious when so many people are responding to me in various annoying ways.

Example: someone said "you cannot possibly have cancer because you are not skinny".

Another is my Aunt who, when hearing how hysterical I am over the thought of losing my precious hair, said, "oh, please, just shave your head, it's no big deal."

I tend to be quite blunt when faced with stupidity, insensitivity and selfishness.

I am normally very nice, but as Kathy Griffin says, mess with me and I'll cut a bitch!
