Sooo not trying to be condescending or mean or anything, but next time you feel this emotional over something like this....take a deep breath, calm down and calmly talk to HIM about this and not just in some kind of "oh, btw..." and "ok, you told me. Discussion over" type of thing. I'm talking a sit down together and seriously talk it out and come to decisions or some kind of conclusion between the two of you. If you cannot do this within your relationship then there is a huge problem and this will continue again and again and eventually make a mole hill into a mountain where the summit will never be reachable.

I'm glad it all worked out for you, OP. I was pretty much of two minds about this whole thread. Some of the responses given do/did make Me lean toward some of the situation as being overly emotional on your part. Not that there wasn't also a dash of lack of being conscientious on Hunter's part, because that was in there, too.

Just to give some perspective, I'll tell you something funny. My other half and I realized we had never even hit the "friends" button on this site until three months ago. While I joined before he did, we've both been here since 2007. It just never occurred to us because anything I wanted him to see, I either just pulled it up to show him or I read it to him. There are plenty of posts out there where I've written "MP says......." because we were sitting right next to each other and it just wasn't that important for him to get on his account to say it, himself.

On the other hand, since we're not sitting in the same house, I'm way more active on the net regarding My sub. If I never paid attention to him, or said anything about how proud I am of him, I could see how that might make him feel. Truthfully, I'm the one posting pics of him more often than the other way around. I do think it would kind of suck for him if he wasn't getting that validation or I never wanted to show him off a bit. It kind of surprises Me when any D-type doesn't do those things. Then again, I'm kind of a fan of taking those pics where other folks might not be.
