FR Every right ends when affects other person's freedom, even free speech, and it ends when defamation begins, and about satire... well... it ends where propaganda begins. One thing is making jokes about stereotypes or facts reported in news, another is pounding againg and again the same ethnical group just to encourage hate. That's the lane to draw. I know that US laws about defamation, where they exist, are much less plaintiff friendly than europeans ones, but in most european country are present and enforced, france decided that when defamation is directed to ethnical groups it gets more serious, and so there is a specific law against it. I think it is right but I don't know if this Dieudonne crossed the line as I never heard of him before, but for what I heard I have a strong suspect he did. Said this... if someone wants to hear some racial jokes can send me a private message.
