Recently my computer stopped letting me view additional pictures on a profile. The icon changes to a hand when I move over the picture but clicking does nothing. I can browse photos and they change fine. I have Win7 and think that an auto update may have changed something. Can't figure it out.

You should probably contact support http://www.collarme.com/personals/support.htm .

Gamma,

Do I just have impeccable timing or are the mods stalking me?

I mean, how often do people whine that there's never a mod around when you need one, and every time I log on, there you are... Then again, it could be because I log on. Hmmmm... Food for paranoid thought.

I've noticed the latest Java update has a broken link in Chrome... what web browser are you using?

If using firefox, check to see if "always activate" is on you java plugin.

For IE, they break their browser on a regular basis so who knows.

I am having the same problem. From the main page the picture advance/retard button will not cycle through the profile pictures. If I open the profile I then can view all the pictures. This seemed to coincided with a windows security update. I am using Internet Explorer 11 with Windows 7 (edited to add 64 bit). I tried updated adobe flash and Java but it did not solve the problem.

When using Chrome I do not have the issue. Cannot decide if I want to switch to Chrome all together or try to figure it out.

I can't forward even when the profile is opened. Checked IE version and it is 11. Last time I had checked it had been 8.
Tried to restore to an earlier date but still no luck. Uninstalled and re installed Java just to see but no change. Might have to go to Firefox or Chrome.

Same here... this has been brought up before but ignored...or at least nothing has been done. I can click on View all and see all the pictures at once but clicking on the picture arrow results in nothing happening. I am pretty sure it is a site and windows explorer problem. If I use Chrome the problem goes away.

In explorer I have no problem on any other site just CM.

Here's the deal (I've done extensive research on this).

Your computer is broken.

(Glad I was able to assist).

Enabling compatibility mode in IE should fix the problem, although there’s an underlying issue with the site (or older versions of IE, depending on how you look at it).

With collarme.com open in IE, select: “Tools” (Alt+X) > “Compatibility View Settings” > “Add”

(The “Add” button should be located next to “Add this website:” and collarme.com should be in the text field when you press “Add”)

You can then close the settings window.

The problem in the original post has nothing whatsoever to do with Java. It is related to a JavaScript issue. Apart from the unfortunately and confusingly similar names, these are completely unrelated things. Java is not used by the Collarme site. In general, selecting “Always Activate” for the Java Applet plug-in in Firefox is a very, very bad idea for security. There is a reason it has a default of “Ask to Activate”.

Internet Exploder has recently started doing this for me. The site is slightly better behaved under Chrome, for me.

Try using a different browser.

Try rebooting your machine.

This is an issue that came up with IE 11. There are a number of ways to handle this problem.

Revert back to IE 10.

Use Chrome or FireFox, as DS suggested.

The simplest one?

Click "View All Photos"

I'm using Firefox 26 and can no longer arrow through the pictures. I've been using the back button and then selecting the next one.

Once you are in the full profile in IE 11, you can blow one up and then arrow through the pictures. You can also "View All Photos," blow one up, and then arrow.

I know what the issue is....after careful deliberation....I've deduced...

Your computer is broken.

Yet another reason to dump IE as your main browser.

Try logging out of your CollarMe account and closing IE completely after you add collarme.com to the Compatibility View settings, then reopening the browser and logging back in. I’ve tested with IE 11 (v11.0.9600.16476) in both Windows 7 Pro and Windows 8.1 Pro and this process seems to reliably resolve the issue. If you still have issues, can you post more details about your setup?

Nope does not work...collarme will need to eventually address the problems with 11 or loose some new and old members... Many people do not want to add additional browsers just for collarme. It would be different if people with 11 were having these same problems on many sites...but this is not the case.

People will visit...browse... the buttons will not work...shrug shoulders and move on to the next site that works.
