Big hugs to the lady with ocd who couldnt take it anymore, you are priceless !!!!!
I am not particularrly OCD< but and this is a big but..
I do the mail thing like LW, MrP etc, I cant have an unread message highlited.
I have about 40 filters set up, business, pet, family, suppliers, bills, etc etc, all my wanted groups and forums, online shopping sites emails, etc etc
I cant handle seeing a notification.
Im also extremely OCD about my computer files
but its still chaos cos there just are not enough hours in a year.

Guilty as charged. I couldn't leave it untouched....
CX will have a laugh...

I say!

When Hlen5 quoted that picture I say nothing wrong with it, despite inspecting it many times. It is only now that you touched it that I spotted the deviation.

If only I had the strength to leave it alone....

Here's something a little bit OCD.

Around the turn of the millenium I had a girlfriend/sometimes-sub who kept getting one item at a time from the store. She could never remember when she last bought the same item so she'd buy it again.

Why couldn't she find the things she bought? BECAUSE SHE LEFT IT IN THE DAMNED BAG!

At the point I blew up there were 47 plastic bags in the bedroom, each containing exactly one item. Many of them contained the same bloody item!

This has continued to be an annoyance when I went to work for a certain very large Electric company that has General usage. I was in charge of some of the computer systems where people were making directories, inside of directories, inside of directories, that contained one file.

All I could see was that bedroom floor littered with bags, only this was worse. It was bags inside of bags, inside of bags with EXACTLY ONE ITEM IN THEM!

Drove me batshit crazy it did.

But...but...it's not HEXAGONAL!! (I'm kidding!)

A normal closet

So, I showed this to S and this was his reaction:

BTW, there's NO need for a tape measure between hangers. Three fingers, squeezed together, perpendicular to the floor, spaced equidistantly between each hanger, always starting from left-to-right from the right side, then right-to-left on the left side, placing garments inward-out with dark-to-light shades and colors..... works just fine. Can you believe that guy in the picture??? What a nutcase, huh??? Aren't you glad that I'm so mentally well-adjusted????

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason S and I have maintained separate residences for 15 years and still love each other dearly.

My OCD kicks in big time when I see .....DELETED UNREAD. I want to tell them just open it ....than you can delete the damn thing all you want.

I don't always click into a message to read it, especially if it's short. You do realize that people can read the message just by hovering over the username, right? And you can see the image, if there is one, by hovering over the image icon.

Yikes!!!!

I thought the "problem" with the juice container was that whoever opened it had done it on the "wrong" side. You know, the milk cartons w/o plastic lids say "Open here" or "Push up here to open." The other side does NOT say "open other side." So, the other day, I tried to open the "wrong" side (end?) Seems there's more glue. So, I saw the carton opened at the wrong end, and that's just terrible..... Wasn't until much later that I realized there even WAS a plastic spout. Just goes to show what an "old fart" I am. New-fangled stuff... Costs more and has a larger carbon foot-print. LOL!

Oh, and I "got" the wall tiles instantly.

ETA: I could NOT live in such a place.

I know right! I ride my bike all over, and I depend on the accuracy of bike paths in areas i don't know. The first time I saw that one I had to actually stop and shake my head to clear out the confusion!

I am on post 1699 and need to get that damn number changed to 1700...this seemed the most appropriate place to post to force the "rollover".... Of course, now I will have to stay quiet as to NOT end up on 1701....

Hlen5, do you think she is sitting there chewing on her nails trying not to post?

Probably not well. She is probably looking for two threads at a time to post to.

Oh yeah. Yes I can
