I was just going to post something similar!!!
I've been trying to stay away, but the OCD in me can't not click on it.

I believe he was asking about me and my intent to NOT post an answer again because I was on post #1700 and did not wish the numbers to "roll". Alas, as you can see, I fell off the wagon.

Fell off the wagon? That is a very serious understatement. It is more like drove that sum-bitch off a cliff and burned it.

I don't get on the boards at all, but I do need to comment.
I didn't get the tiles either till someone made the obvious change.
I don't have OCD, but I laughed at all the pictures.

What about throwing a bag of M&M's into a bowl and putting it in front of someone with OCD?

In real life i know two people with OCD.
The first one it took him about 15 minutes to park his car, as it had to be the same distance between the lines on each side.
The second, I work in a grocery store at night, and every night this same woman comes in and buys 5 rolls of paper towels, and someone asked me what could she possibly do with all that paper.
I explained to them she most likely has an OCD dealing with cleaning so she must with things off 100 times a day.

This drives me nuts. And I can't delete emails, because it is a CYA thing. Too many times did I have some fucking Captain swear I didn't email <insert whatever it was they wanted>. I also have My email set to notify Me they read it, so I get to show them that AND send the original. Works in My favor but still drives Me crazy.

I do the same thing with my email....especially at my job. With the exception of mass emails sent out by our IT department that affect only other departments that I don't deal with, I keep EVERY email I get at my job. I have emails from 2004 in my archived folders. Even if the policies in those emails have been changed 6 times since then, you can bet I still have the original email.

Which brings up a question for me...does saving all of my emails mean that I am at risk of becoming a "hoarder"??

Some of those would drive me crazy too....and I don't even have OCD (at least not that I know of....)

But I love what someone said on the page:

"This is how I keep my house clean. I sponsor OCD support group meetings at my house twice a week. Cheaper than hiring a maid."

That's a great idea!! I might try that myself.....
