Deep breaths, kill the caps lock, and keep in mind that a lot of people don't know anymore about your part of the world than what they read in the foreign press.

You actually disproved your own statement by using bad manners in making a reference to us Northern folks as Yankees.

I contest that purely on bases that ive put up with every possible
State,nationality etc. That its become a mute point..

Ive really nothing aginst people from the north twas the statmet itsself
That irked me..

For example, manners and racism are both taught and learned so would it be alright if I made the general assumption that all Southerners are racist? No, it wouldn't be and it would be ridiculous for me to do so unless I wanted to come across as a bigot.

Secondly, by referring to us Northerners as Yankees is in itself a bigoted comment.
