In what part of the video do you see actions that would render someone afraid for their life? It doesn't show Reeves getting directly hit, it's not a direct or clear view. How can you justify using deadly force by that video? I will base my opinion on what his own wife stated. Even his actions after the shooting are disturbing. He did not try to render aid, nor did he call 911 or seek management. He just sat there.

His actions after the shooting are consistent with a man in shock.

Reeves was able to converse with his wife, perhaps it was a holy shit what the hell have I done, but regardless he was a lifelong cop, his instincts and training should have kicked in.

What will you say if it turns out that Reeves' glasses actually were damaged? It's pretty obvious from the video that Reeves became aggressive after he was hit with the popcorn. He didn't cower back into his seat as if afraid for his life. He aggressively leaned forward, half out of his seat, toward Oulsen, and shot him.
