FR Ah, who cares? Those New Yorkers think they have it rough. They should try living here. It's been warm and sunny in the 70s every day for weeks now. It's also dry as a bone, with not a drop of rain in sight. (Even though it's a desert, we usually get some rain in the winter, but this season is well below average.) So, I guess because these people are wealthy, they think they should get top priority in having their streets plowed first? But it's not like they're stranded; they can still take the subway if the roads aren't passable (but the picture above suggests that the roads are passable). I would be more worried about people in isolated areas who may be stranded, as well as those who may not have sufficient heat in their homes. As long as they have food, heated shelter, and a subway to get to, those New Yorkers will survive. It's hard to worry too much about them.
