I told you. I said I can not bear weight on this foot. they said yes you can i want you to try.I said no i can't. They said ok let me get you a wheel chair, i said ok but once i am in the bathroom i am going to need an aid i can not get out of the chair and onto the potty by myself. or i am going to need a potty chair. they said no you dont need us that's what James is for. They refused to provide aid. making it necessary for james to put my arms around him pick me up and try to pivot. the bathroom was to small he stepped on my foot and knocked my knee out from under me. when my leg buckled he tried to put me back in the chair, and torked my knee. he tried so hard to hold me and i am pulling the emergency pull cord and screaming help me. they heard me and stood outside the door whispering i was faking i was tantruming i did this to prove a point i was left on the floor sitting in piss for 25 minutes while they whispered and confered. and then i was left sitting in urine for the whole rest of the 24 hours cuz they put me on a pych hold and did not clean my fat folds up. THEY SAID AND I QUOTE AFTER I FELL. I am so sorry we didn't believe you . we would have never made you go to the bathroom with out a nurse and or a potty chair if we had believed you couldn't do this on your own. I told them clear as day, an they shouted me down and told me i was lying an could go to the bathroom on my own. James and i were forced to do the best we could, with their refusal to help me to the bathroom. I called a malpractice laywer, several and they said i had a case. but its gonna be painful and embarrasing and long and drawn out my best bet is to file a grvience with ms. quote:

ORIGINAL: shiftyw Allegedly. (We are only hearing one version of the event) This is the crux of the matter. Unless there is a witness to verify that KP staff said that James HAD TO pick her up. And I seriously doubt they instructed James to pick her up. They might have said he COULD, but I doubt they said he HAD TO. They're not responsible for what people voluntarily do. quote:
ORIGINAL: DaddySatyr I don't know if it works the same way where you are but in quite a few states, lawyers will take cases on a contingency basis. I would say that if that's how it is where you are and you can get a lawyer to take the case, it means that you might just have a legitimate cause of action. Lawyers won't take a losing case (if they can help it). It goes beyond that. In 1999, I stepped in a puddle of water from a leaking dairy case in the grocery store. I ended up landing straight on my knees, compressing my spine. I cracked my third cervical vertebrae and sheared the tip off. There were witnesses and it was on the security tape. No lawyer would take it because 1) I had been wearing loafers at the time and 2) there wasn't enough money on the payout, they'd said I'd be lucky to get $20K. I ended up settling directly with the store to cover my medical costs. So, I would say that her chances of a lawsuit are nil.
