I went in with paralasis in my foot coudn't walk, and they wanted a urin sample and wouldn't provide aid to go to the bathroom because they said i didn't need it i had my bf to help me. Well he had to pick me up and he dropped me because he wasn't strong enough, and then i was screaming fr help and they wouldn't come. and when they did, they said oh sorry about that we didn't believe you couldn't walk and we would have provided aid if we had thought you couldn't. I am so done, this was the last strw and i am going after them legally.

yes emergency room. Daddy brought me in. I was able to hobble to the car with his help, and then when we got there i had lost all ability to bear weight in that foot. i should have gone in by ambulance, because when i got there they treated it as a pych case and not a true foot case. but i was trying to be polite and not waste amulances when daddy could drive me. quote: ORIGINAL: petitespot I assume this was in the emergency room? This isn't an emergency room visit. this is a primary care physician visit. Your bf should have rented a pair of crutches and taken you to the dr. not the emergency room.

Sorry. You're wrong. This is a primary care physician visit. Any lawsuit would be bogus and is part of the main reason why health care costs are ridiculous in this country.

Chris, you've sounded manic the last few days so I think instead of looking for a lawyer, you should be focusing on getting the help you need to get stable mentally.

\. how about you can't walk, you tell them you cant walk and they make your bf carry you to the toilet where he drops you. You have back pain and health issues anyway and now he just dropped you on yoir butt and you're injured. you have a law suit. or you should. I told them I have a long history of medical issues like arthritus and tail bone and back pain and i am pyscially disabled. and they said no you do not. you can walk. and when James tried to carry me i was to heavy and i fell. I am having back pain from being dropped. then the left me to sit in pissed soaked clothing for about an hour because when i fell i pissed myself. Sorry LGH, I agree with petitespot - you overreacted and was OTT. This is definitely the sort of thing you go to your GP about - not the ER. IF he/she thought it was bad enough to refer you, then fair enough. But your first port of call was your GP. Chances are, it could be a spate of gout or something similar. Perfectly treatable. As for a lawyer, good luck with that. But, if you really want to waste $$'s, try a Google search for lawyers in your area. Or, dare I say it - look in your local phone book.

You suddenly lost the ability to walk once you had an audience? You knew your boyfriend/daddy/guy that lives with you at your parents is also on disability, and wanted him to carry you? How did you get up? You say the staff never helped you, did he just pick you back up once he dropped you on the tile? This is not going to go over well in a lawsuit, just stop. For once in your life, take responsibility for your own actions.

I got hauled up by a machine. They have a special basket like thingie, they put it around you and you hold onto this bar and they pick you up n walk you out.

I wouldn't file a lawsuit. I would call the number for customer relations and talk to them. I am sure that in addition to whatever pain you are experiencing from the fall is made worse by the way they interacted with you. Treating you as if you had made it all up and whispering behind your back could be as aggravating as the actual physical pain from the fall. Mentally ill people have physical problems. However, I do think you should call your psychiatrist as you do sound manic to me. What did they say was the reason for your inability to walk? Oh, my primary care MD would see a sudden paralysis as a "medical emergency" and that is where I would be told to go to the ER if I called her with that.. that is what the prompt on their phone system says.

They never addressed it. In all this they didnt even do an x ray till i told them i was filing a grevience, n then they x rayed n never talked to me about it.
