The problem is that there seems to be some problems with the article as already stated. Why doesn't he get assistance from the VA? Why are they living apart? Based on his unemployment income, they would meet the guidelines for medicaid Also, Florida has kidcare, so the children would get insurance, which typically includes the family. Those are just a few questions. Without those answers, as someone else said, it seems as though the writer intentionall left out info to make a point.
