ORIGINAL: Rawni Gee, I must be in far more pain than you are because with the pain I have... no muther fucker is getting near my spine with a moving needle. And laying down or sitting up, you have to know it will mean more than ten minutes in the same position and for someone with severe spine pain, we know better and will not risk it because it can friggin disable us for days, weeks or months. I'm not buying it. Nor am I buying that bit about, never having a tattoo and yet knowing you can handle the pain of one, because it can't be that bad. This is all hype for attention. How could a tattoo hurt much when it's just needles? And loads of people have them. So it can't be that bad. I do think that laying in the same position for a long period of time will be difficult but I thought they'd give you short breaks and stuff...to move a little. I had an MRI last week that took 30 minutes and it was really hard to not move but I managed with the exception of a couple times. How can a paper cut hurt when it is so small... or a hangnail? I have a wild and crazy idea: ask your doctor what s/he thinks. OR Just do what you want. Since you seem to be arguing against those who suggest against it, why not just do what makes you happy. (But really, why ask at all if you don't care what other people's opinions are?) Paper cuts and hang nails don't hurt much. >.<
