I never worry about that. I am Me and that's all I ever will be. I am taking Her out shopping (got the day off thanks to presidents day) in Fairbanks, and a nice dinner. Not sure if She will do a movie, but We will see.

In my house, though, we've never made a big deal about Valentine's day.
I've never been impressed by a man buying me flowers or gifts on Valentines, but have been if its just an ordinary day, "just because".

I like to enjoy Valentine's day BDSM style.

I purchase a dozen roses, a big box of chocolates and a bottle of good wine.

Then, while she serves as my naked foot rest, I enjoy the roses, wine and especially the chocolates!

In a poly situation like LP and I are in there are two days that are for Us with no /s types. That is valentines day and Our wedding anniversary. This doesn't mean there are not any others, I just bring those two up right now because they are a little over a month apart (hey, I am human and like My alone time with her as much as Her tk).

I wasn't going to get him anything other than making him dinner, which will include steak, but got a Groupon for FTD this AM and have sent a heart-shaped Lucky Bamboo plant to his office.

I was going to make molten chocolate cakes for dessert, but just got an email from Whole Foods with lots of additional dessert recipes ideas.

We're going out for dinner Saturday night, not sure where yet. He's getting me a gift, new rule I'm not allowed to buy him one although I can get him a card. I love buying funny cards appropriate to the person, I also love to write heartfelt messages in them.

I don't give a shit what's in his bank account.

When I was married, Valentines Day was the loneliest day for me on many levels.

The mister loves to celebrate all holidays, so while V Day is not necessary for me, I greatly appreciate what he does. And I do stuff for him, too.

This year we've found a local restaurant in our new town that we want to try. Since Friday will be restaurant chaos, we're going Saturday.

I've never cared what money a guy has had in his account either. it would be nice if I had more money, or when with someone, we had more money, but I wouldn't leave someone I love for a man just because he happens to have more money. it's a pretty poor outlook on us women as a blanket cover, although there are some like that. it works both ways though.
