I wouldn't go nearly so far as to say inherently evil, but any religion that prohibits dogs as pets is a bit fucked up, in my opinion. Banning it? No. Hell no. Fuck no. Many liberals tolerate religion Heretic, others do hate it because of the horrors religions have produced over the years (the actions of the right wing extremists for example). I consider myself in the tolerant side, because despite the many downfalls of religion, it also provides people hope, a sense of community and belonging, and a kind assurance that science admittedly doesn't provide. Sure, any one given religion is unlikely to be true, and they may all be wrong, who knows. But a lot of people are very fearful of the unknown, which is why religion can be a very good thing as it keeps them happy and sane in a lot of cases. Some people just can't handle the reality of our world, it's too big and scary. But I agree that freedom of and from religion is a fundamental human right, and no one, liberal or conservative, can take that away or should take that away.

Just look, Bemy, at how normal folks feel about America`s jerk-offs pushing their religion on them.....They are very un-popular.....But like most jerk-offs....they just keep coming.... The main difference between radical Islam and our christo-fascists.....and their various supporters.....is the body count.... Our Christo-fascist haven`t killed quite as many people .......recently at least......as their Muslim counter-parts.....but there`s not much else that differentiates them
