Uhm, there is only one kind of race play, so no need to give a "what does". If you really need to have it explained to you, watch the tv mini-series Roots, watch documentaries on Hitler, read any books on Stalin, watch any old news coverage on Serbia or Croatia, stuff like that. Filter that mentality through kink colored glasses, and you have race play

To my understanding, it involves racist comments when they are humiliating and verbal abusing you ha!

I've had a white dom, and he does that with me, but I knew he would die for me, I mean, I know he would take a bullet for me if need be to save my life when push came to shove, so I wasn't offended and I get his politically incorrect humour. I often tease him with stereotypes we Asians think of his race too.

Race play is when the Dominant uses the submissive's race (racist words) to humiliate and degrade the submissive.

Not just, some submissives like to pretend to be another race and get humiliated and degraded as that race was in history. A friend of mine is a black pro-Domme, so many white guys want to pretend to be her plantation slave and stuff...

You are correct. I get that request pretty frequently too. The fact that I live in the south seems to really pique the interest of a lot of guys who are into that.

If it's not too personal, how do you feel about that? My friend (she's from NYC) laughs about it and finds it quite funny, I'm not sure I could deal with it the same way. They weird thing is, that I lived for quite a while in Germany and speak, read and write the language quite fluently (a lot more fluent than English), I often got approached for Nazi role play and felt pretty much revolted by the idea.

Seen the scars my grandfather had from having been interned as a political in a forced labour camp. Must be my quirky sense of humour to not find genocide awfully funny...

Well, actually, I dont think of religions as race play.

I expect there are massive numbers who feel as you do, being in a like boat.

Depends if you define Jewish as religion or race, though most Jews would define themselves as part of a race and not just having one religion, but they weren't the only ones that were targeted, gipsies (not a religion), the Slavs were also considered as barely human and only good as labour force, I just found it so much out of my comfort zone and was actually repelled by the idea of doing a kinky role play along those lines. Don't get me wrong, the Nazis had great uniform designers, it's just the real suffering behind it, and if you ever lived there, it's an absolute taboo, oddly enough mainly Americans want to do those role plays.

The scenarios I have done were like "reverse historical" scenes. The sub was not actually role playing as a black but role playing as if during this time period caucasions were the slaves and blacks were the slave owners. Personally, I am a bit conflicted regarding race play. I enjoy it and it troubles me that I enjoy it. I feel like if I were a "decent person" I would and should hate it (or at least have a "justifiable indifference" to it.) Even in typing this I feel like I should lie and say how shocked and appalled I am at the very idea. I should probably do like your friend and just laugh it off. Its a lot less complicated than overthinking it.

Hey, if you have no problem with it, just go and enjoy and don't overthink, I don't think consensual fantasies make anybody a less decent person.
Hard limits just like fantasies are pretty individual. Apart from how much more consent can they give you than actually paying for it?

Oh. I don't do pro. I am strictly a lifestyler; but it is all consensual. So I will try to take your advice and just enjoy it without reservations.

I never would have considered it "race play", per se, but I enjoy a submissive playing the role of "historical slave", which, after all, has been "normal" throughout written human history from about 2,000 years ago (as far as we know), to about 100 years ago (again, as far as we know, slavery was finally legally abolished in the late 1960s).

I've read EVERYTHING I can find on the net about slavery, and how slaves were treated, specifically the female "sex slaves", and I find it thoroughly intriguing.

Am I a bad person because of this? Maybe. I have the same guilt feelings that MsMJAY reports. Yet, I still get a nice long erection whenever someone calls me "Master". I guess that's why I hang out with the likes of you!
