ORIGINAL: Tkman117 I agree that there are definitely Liberal extremists, just as there are right wing extremists. But you have to admit, by comparison these days, the right wing seems to really take the cake. You got conservatives calling to over throw the government, threatening the president's life, harassing and killing minorities (and getting away with it). All for what? Because they feel persecuted? Because they think that because liberals want to give equal rights to everyone are stepping on their rights? That liberals trying to regulate banks and other industry are over stepping and causing economic problems, when in reality without these regulations would result in horrible abuse to both the people, economy and environment? Liberal extremists are much fewer than you'd think, and they have generally noble ambitions, but they, like right wing extremists, take action in a very misguided way. They don't see the larger picture, they only see the popular opinion of that side. Which like the right, can have disastrous effects. The right wing has this image in their heads that they're the victims, all the while they fight to keep tools designed to kill people, while they struggle to maintain "traditional marriage", while they argue against women rights, and while they try to deny basic scientific principles and knowledge. It's totally ass hat backwards. So while there are liberal extremists, you got to ask, who is worse? And who is going to cause the most damage? Because keep in mind, there are many conservative politicians that have said some pretty crazy things, much of which are pretty extreme. Actually I would venture to say that the liberal extremists are just as active, but their techniques rarely make national news. Who cares if some logger with a chainsaw hits a metal spike in a tree in Washington state if they live in Florida. Arson is considered a local crime, as is break ins at non-government labs. My problem is that I cannot get enough moderates interested in forming a terrorist group with the goal of having all the world governments work together to reverse tectonic movement and recreate the super continent of Pangaea, or failing that, forcing a intelligence requirement for elected officials.
