SadistDave -> RE: Republican Position on the Ukraine (3/5/2014 2:18:08 AM)

I fail to see why a "Republican Position" would even be relevant to the Ukraine. Obozo abandoned the defense treaties we had with Ukraine. That was a Dumbocrat decision, and that makes this a Dumbocrat problem. In 2008 Sarah Palin stated in a debate with Biden that Obama's weakness as a world leader would specifically put the Ukraine at risk. She refered to it as "Crisis Scenerio #4". So, it's a little late for the Dumbocrats to try to put Republicans on the hotseat to find a way to salvage the situation.

HOWEVER

In the here and now, Russia has plenty of airplanes and missles capable of flying over Ukraine to hit North America. So, there is really no more threat to America than before Putin took Ukraine. America only has a small amount of trade with the Ukraine. The figures I have heard on that vary, but it's less than 2 billion annually from every source I've found. 2 Billion is nothing to the American economy. The Fed distributes 80 billion in magic money it creates out of thin air every month to cover up Odumbasses disasterous economic policies.

Ukraines primary trade partners are Russia and the EU. The EU has around 25 billion in trade with the Ukraine annually. I don't see this as an American problem. Sure... Clueless Leader made it possible for Fearless Leader to get squirrel and moose, but Clueless leader didn't really lose anything in the deal. It's actually the very least Barry-O can do to ask the EU to sanction Russia. What does he care. He's only risking 2 billion and pressuring the EU to risk 25 billion.

Waiting for Obummer to act would be a mistake. In the end, The Kenyan will do whatever his teleprompter tells him to do. Putin will continue to do what Putin wants to do. The EU, of course, will do nothing. France will continue to service and supply the Russian Navy. Germany doesn't care. None of the other EU countries have the balls to do anything about Putin. Since the EU will do nothing to save themselves from Obummers predicted failure to protect the Ukraine, I'd say the Republicans are pretty much off the hook on this one...

Please learn some geography.

Please learn about technology. Did you think we were the only country with high altitude aircraft, in-flight fueling, and rocket technology? Betcha thought that whole Sputnik thing was faked, didn't ya....

I assure you, Russia can fly or send missles to the Eastern United States.

What the nutsackers disguising themselves as republidipshits do not understand is the US has no defense treaties with the Ukraine.

Well then, now that that is settled, maybe we can get that poster with the man crush on baby Bush to post more pics from his collection. If we are lucky he will tell us which one he sleeps with at night.

"Finally! Republicans Rally Around the President as Russia Meddles in Ukraine"

"After 5 years of unforeseen criticism and obstructionism, the Republicans finally found cause to rally around the president in the wake of Russia’s adventures in the Crimea region of Ukraine. As the leader of one of the world’s super-powers, he has been put into a dicey situation – how to deal with what he views as a violation of international laws by Russia.
As such, the president needs both parties to rally behind and support whatever decision he ends up making in dealing with Russia.
And the Republicans have done just that!
Finally, the party of “no”, the party which candidly admitted during President Obama’s first term that their main goal was to make him a one-term president, and the party that has hurled nearly every insult known to man his way and obstructed most everything he has tried to accomplish while in office has stopped criticizing him for once and is actually supporting him! Amazing!
Well, except for one little problem.
The Republicans are not rallying around the black guy. No sir, no way.
They are rallying around a different president. A tough-talking, mean-looking, steely-eyed, muscle-bound, ex-military, homophobic white guy who, thanks to a black belt in judo, is a certified bad ass."

I don't have a problem with pic of him. He's not a bad looking man but I am curious about your obsession with the guy. I always got the impression you didn't like him but he seems to occupy your every thought. And now every other post has his face shining back. Makes me think you can't get enough and post them just so you can scroll through and admire that strong jaw line.

cloudboy -> RE: Republican Position on the Ukraine (3/5/2014 11:17:31 AM)

Fox News pulls this kind of stuff with Obama all the time. Whenever he's enjoying down time they juxtapose that with some other crisis that needs urgent attention.

The best thing about GWB was how he: (1) Supported Immigration Reform and (2) Swung into action to help lay the groundwork for TARP and Federal Intervention to help prop up the economy.

I don't fault GWB either for trying to establish a good relationship with Putin. With Russia, we see them as despotic. One could make the case the USA is more despotic than Russia when it comes to foreign affairs -- yet we hide behind our status as a "democracy" as if that covers up our imperial nature.

Hopefully Putin saw the cost of occupying a country that doesn't want you doing it...as evidence by the USA in IRAQ and Afghanistan.

mnottertail -> RE: Republican Position on the Ukraine (3/5/2014 11:32:38 AM)

Ja, more horseshit though, Obama is known as the Deporter-in-Chief, deporting near 2 million illegal aliens, more than any nutsacker ever has by a very wide margin.

cloudboy -> RE: Republican Position on the Ukraine (3/5/2014 11:52:15 AM)

Only tea party republicans are against immigration reform. Obama gets credit for deferred action of the Dreamers.

The polices and decision making of GWB were often flawed, and it's kind of insane that the right wants to double down on some of his worst policies.

The irony of a personal attack from someone who moans about them wont be lost on many of us.

Your personal attack on owner, does nothing to alter the fact Bush was, is, and will be an arsehole, along with Blair.

The more photos of these two clowns, the better, lest we forget. At least our Labour Party are trying to distance thereselves from the former Golden Boy.

mnottertail -> RE: Republican Position on the Ukraine (3/5/2014 5:07:37 PM)

There is some simple stuff here, for better or worse, these countries were bound up for a time..........
I dont think by a damn sight that Kruschev should give a motherfucker Crimea, cuz he was drunk, at the same time I dont think Crimea and Ukraine are (or have ever been) asshole buddies.

What I do find fascinating in the typical nutsackerish way is that most of the dildos you are talking about Obama wont do shit and is getting his ass handed him, while you are shitting your pants and talking smart is:

Most of these guys are Communist Muslims (and I get that) because thats what the republican /conservative/independant/nutsackers are.........and frankly lookin at em, they are falling apart like a bought whore on prom nite.

The best missile or attack bomber path from Russia to the US is a polar route.

Please buy a globe. (That's one of those round thingies with a map on it)

But I love the nutsackers defending muslims now.
