Hello twicehappy,

I suppose that the fact that I am deeply content, feel right with my world, am happy, thankful and appreciate being in my relationship tells me that my Master has a pretty positive effect on me.

If I felt resentful, unhappy and misunderstood then I would regard that as an indicator that the communication that we've always had was not working.

He handles my mind wonderfully. Better than I would have imagined.

The degree to which he is so in tune with me tells me how seriously he takes the management of my mind. He manages to ensure my happiness while not ever bending or yielding to me, and while not ever losing his control of me. I can see him fine tune and adjust from time to time. He wants to know everything I am thinking and feeling and he pays attention to it. He also knows when to not change a thing, and to watch me process a given situation.

Something would not be right if I stopped feeling good about myself, and started wrapping myself in the blanket of depression which I used to live in. I do not foresee that occurring.

And this answer and the quality of your owners devotion is one of the biggest reasons so many of us search for that perfect Dom. You so very rarely that kind of intensity and attention in a vanilla relationship.

Thank you twicehappy. I know I longed for that type of devotion in my "vanilla" marriage and never found it.

I am lucky, yes. And luck really is the word. He came upon me by happenstance and my life was changed. It is those days when I forget my good fortune that I find myself miserable. And yes, that does occasionally happen. Fortunately he always reels me back, and sometimes not so gently. heh.
