I'm curious how successful the op is in her real life. Does she only associate with people who cheer her on even if she's doing something quite unsafe? Part of being an adult is being able to separate the fact that someone can dislike what you do without disliking you as a person.

However, since you feel attacked, this may well not be the right forums for you. It's a big internet and there are places where you will be happier. I hope you find one.

Oh and op? You might find it helpful to learn the difference between a psychiatrist, a medical doctor who will diagnose and treat (most commonly with medication) and a psychologist, who is trained to help people change behavior, figure out why they engage in unhealthy behavior, and discover where these issues stem from.

Both are very useful professionals who normally work in tandem to help an individual but they are not synonymous.
