It appears that.......

"The Collarchat forums are back online after a hardware failure. Posts made between 4/3/2014 at 6:04 AM and 4/6/2014 11:43:02 AM are not present on the forum however we are looking into the possibility of retrieving them.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."

It was indeed an inconvenient time for such a failure, wasn't it?

I imagine heaven and earth is being moved to find those missing posts, in their entirety.

You will have to admit it was a breath of fresh air getting away from all the hate and negativity and exploring other venues.

I guess if we tried real hard we could bring back all those old posts ourselves...God I hope not...lol

Just me I'm all for forget and forgive because in the end...who really gives a fuck?

I agree with Butch, if nothing else the shutdown took the sting out of things. I dont see that as a bad thing myself.

Indeed. Unfortunately, the servers used back when CM was installed were just not designed to handle the levels of irony, hypocrisy and butthurt that was generated here in the last week. It's hardly a surprise it caused a hardware failure.

I see that certain things are still here, while others are missing. all very.......selective...for a failure. whatever people think about what went on, it should all remain on the site so that future people can make up their own minds.

Oh good, I'm still here. I was afraid I might have gotten vaporized during the recent reset. I just hope we haven't lost that new poster who identified as gender fluid . . . they seemed like a very interesting person.

Darn it, it seems your birthday thread was a victim as well. And it was such a pretty cake!
I hope you enjoyed the day!

"To the victors go the spoils"

... and one of the "spoils" is they get to write (or edit) history.

I agree and if the mood to dwell on it strikes we can always go for a trip through Yosemite. In fact maybe they should sticky that thread

Actually, the nails go through the wrists and heal bones. If they went in the palms, the weight of the body would just rip the palms apart and it would fall to the ground.

They taught us all that stuff when we enlisted in the Roman Legion. Pay sucked and they really had no winter uniforms to speak of, the tunic, armor and that cold wind blowing up under the tunic would freeze your balls off.

If you're up for a bit of time travel, you might want to check this thread out. If the posting times are correct, you can at least post in the future. I've been thinking of going over there and asking them for the most recent lottery numbers, and a belated happy birthday to you, of course.

Edit: additional thought.

Not to mention that all the marching songs were in Latin. Bet you guys sounded like a punch of pissed-off monks during PT, huh?
