I have read, extensively, and I assume you're talking about an influx of atmospheric aerosols which change temperature very rapidly. I agree, they do cause very quick changes, but usually a cooling, not a warming. Do you know how long Aerosols stay in the atmosphere? Not long. They're particulates, solid particulates, and gravity combined with rain and other factors bring it back to the earth fairly quickly.

And once again, you don't know as much as you think you do.

To say that aerosols are solid is just to be *wrong*.

For the purposes of discussing the IPCC's discredited AGW, the discussion needs to focus on aersols created over the oceans. Which, are as you may guess, significantly water, although you do get some salt nucleation as well.

Unfortunately, while I'm sure he's a great kid, the fact is, at 19, the only thing he knows....is what he thinks he knows.

And that, under any circumstances, is only ever enough to be involved in a debate, not enough to discern solutions.

What I know is what I learn, and ya I'm 19 years old and ya I'm still in school. I'm not learning to create solutions, I'm learning about Environmental Science and Resource management. Science which you, as well as Phydeaux, either don't understand or don't agree with due to misconceptions. Science tells us what is, not what should be. Please keep that in mind.

Thanks form the education.

I'll keep that all in mind Copernicus.

Really?
Aerosols are not solids? Would you care to try proving that?
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/aerosol
A gaseous suspension of fine solid or liquid particles.

You aren't arguing to win a point. You are just arguing to be a troll. I have more than 30 times posted about what aerosols are, which include dust from the sahara. Salt particles. So clearly I understand that aerosols can be solid.

I did not say that some aerosols aren't solid. I said "to say that aerosols are solids is just to be *wrong*."

TK's statement that aerosols are solids is just wrong. Aerosols are solids or liquids. And one of the egregious problems with the IPCC reports is they did not consider cloud formation (liquid aerosols) in any kind of meaningful fashion. Nor ionizing radiation induced aerosol formation.
