I am kind of new, but I thought the rule was that your weren't actually a Dom until you had a sub.

I've heard some say that you aren't a Master unless you have a slave (I don't agree with that), but I haven't heard it about a Dom before. To me, being a Dom is a state of mind about wanting control.
