FR In the "It's the Left Keeping Sarah Palin in the Spotlight" department, folks might enjoy these tidbits from an email I received today from Sal Russo of the Tea Party Express. Emphases mine. D.C. politicos and the mainstream media are drunk on Potomac water, and believe that the only way to elect a candidate is to dump millions of dollars into flashy advertisements. But it's that kind of one-dimensional thinking that has consistently failed to succeed. We need only to look at Romney's 2012 flop and the establishment's failure to win the Senate as proof. Of course, the facts haven't stopped the Washington Post from attacking Tea Party Express and the movement's most inspiring voice, Governor Sarah Palin. But we must remember that they are only attacking us because they don't understand us, and what they don't understand scares them. Tea Party Express' cross-country bus tours have rallied millions of frustrated voters and turned them into powerful activists. Together, we've tipped the scale and have had historic results. But we haven't done it alone. If it wasn't for the energy and inspiration brought to so many of our rallies over the years by Governor Palin, we wouldn't have had the same affect.
