It is not my lack of reading comprehension that tells me that bringing this extranious bullshit into this conversation is irrelevent to the discussion of this gun. This discussion is about this gun. Why are you bringing something that is not part of this discussion into this discussion?

I considered this a discussion of smart guns in general.

That is not what the title of the thread is and you have been told many times in the past 14 pages that trying to obscure the discussion of this gun with your pissing and moaning about some gun we are not discussing, is pure unmitigated bullshit. If you are this dishonest in your day to day shit it is no wonder you carry two guns and have three dogs to protect yourself. You post up opinion as fact and fill your post with unrelated garbage of the most disingenuous sort.

No. Because that is not what the law says. The state of n.j. does not get to decide. It has to be proved that the gun is equivilant...not some politician or bureaucrat giving their ignorant unsubstantiated opinion.

That is an unfair characterazation of "gun phreaques".
There are some sociopaths who use guns to further their anti- social agenda. These people represent a fraction of one percent of gun owners. I believe that anyone who wishes to own a gun should not be restricted in doing so. I believe that sociopaths who cannot control thier violent emotions should be institutionalized.

I was demonstrating that is wasn't true.
Yes I didn't need my firearm in this case.
My point was that just because you carry doesn't mean you blast away at the first sign of trouble,
it was well known that I carried, I do not know how or if this affected the other person.
