ORIGINAL: jlf1961 I know that, I used the rueben in the wrong context. Should have been with the german deli desire. However, a good white fish would be nice, and a couple of other items. Even the local middle eastern restaurant does not make their own hummus. How is the hummus at the restaurant, though? If it's still a good quality hummus, then what's wrong with that? If it's crappy hummus, though, there should be questions... quote:
Of course there is only one mexican restaurant that makes fresh guacamole, and I am not a fan of guacamole, but I eat what they serve there, it is great tasting. Unless they're not making real guacamole, it sounds like you're a fan of fresh guacamole. If they're making a dip that has avocados in it, but not true guacamole, then you just like what they call guacamole. Personally, I'm not a fan of avocados and haven't had a guacamole I can actually say I like. I can put up with some, but I tend to ignore it. I accept it's possible I haven't had good quality guacamole, so I try to taste it at Mexican restaurants before I claim to not like their guacamole.
