We have less than a 1.3 degree temperature change - something that has occured millions of times over history.

Would you have any validation for this ignorant shit?

An article on how that much-celebrated, nutty little myth got started:

I hope that helps. [;)]

???? What I got from this source was that both sides admittedly don't know all the long or short term effects. I'll put MY money on Marilyn, the smartest girl in the world and assume she is right on this subject.

You assume wrong. She is neither the smartest person in the world, her IQ tests are strange and contested, nor is she an expert in the field. The only thing she is an expert on is getting paid to solve trivial puzzles sent in by people who can't understand things like the Monty Hall problem.

You're kidding, right?

The NIPCC?

You're actually positing the NIPCC as a credible research organization?

Oh my, thank-you, I've had a shit day, and this one gave me a belly laugh.

You really do need to ask yourself a couple of questions about bias, motivation, and funding.

Then perhaps you'll stop presenting arguments, and proffering organizations that have been discredited a thousand times already.

I can't say that I'm surprised that certain people take the word of a person with a (reportedly) high IQ as true wisdom just because of her allegedly high IQ. Hey ho, that's what science is all about, dontchaknow. This is one reason why I tend to give up on these climate threads.

If all it takes to convince people is a high IQ, I'd be happy be take one I routinely test in the 140's.

You know, one day I'm going to put on a white coat and thick glasses and walk into town carrying a clipboard. I'll tell every tasty woman I meet that my semen, once ingested, will make them look ten years younger. How many blow jobs do you think I'll get?

I have no clue but I bet if you ask nice, Ron would be willing to help out in that kind of study. Just don't mention hair when you talk to him. He's a bit sensitive about that subject right now.

Ron did that when he was in college. Being young and inexperienced he failed to incorporate a vaccum relief valve and now he is bald.

Antarctic ice loses double in the last 3 years: http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-27465050
Yet more hard science that will easily be brushed aside by the adept and nimble deniers of climate change . . .
