Hide behind insults if you like. Not very adult of you.

I quoted you, and I can read just fine.

If you want to pretend otherwise, so be it.

I didn't say you couldn't quote and read and cut and paste. I just pointed out that you were wrong in your interpretation of what I said. I'm not hiding anywhere, I'm right out in the open here.

You are wrong in your interpretation. If you want to believe otherwise, you are welcome to. But you're still wrong.

Have you tried stomping your feet and holding your breath? Sometimes, I'm told, that makes silly things true.

You could click your heels three times, but you'd need ruby slippers.

I have no fondness for men who objectify women. I believe if there are more connection than just that, this would not have happened.

How,exactly, does that "more connection" occure if there is no initial "objectification"? One seriously doubts that you would strike up a conversation, with the intent of finding a compatable partner, with some one you found to be physically repugnant?

But I still wouldn't say they have it coming because I bet they have done this alot and nothing happened. They just pick the wrong girl to mess with.

I go to a porn site and from a page full of pics I pick the one I want to engage. How is picking the criminal, some how, my fault? Someone gets struck by a car while crossing the street with the light and somehow you have no sympathy for that person because they should have been paying closer attention.

Greta75 -> RE: Police warn men over online 'sextortion' (5/16/2014 12:08:27 PM)

To put things into perceptive, there is also the other way round where women send nude pictures of themselves to men. Then it gets circulated around. And woman cry wolf, blah blah blah, it's suppose to be private, I trusted him, blah blah blah, I also find it hard to sympathize, they were not very wise, just like these guys were seriously not very wise. Now that is the equivalent of what happened to these guys. Definitely not rape. Rape is a woman going into these dudes homes and tying them up and assfucking them with a dildo.

The only time you are right is when you agree with me which ain't often

Hi good afternoon, just strolling by, let's do our best to stay to the topic discussion and not towards one another. Enjoy the discussion.

If this was an online thing, I dare say it's quite possible they could have strike up a conversation and connected before even seeing the physical. But of course in this case, the guys were looking for wank fodder, so of course they will go for women with smoking hot pics and these syndicates will put smoking hot pics out there as bait for these dudes. Sorry, just can't feel sorry for them at all.

Chances are, they didn't even go to a Porn site. Too bad the article is not clear where they meet these women, but if they had gone to an official Porn site, this probably wouldn't have happened. You'd end up clicking on alot of "Pay to Video Chat" links. And there will be none of this trouble. Do it with the professionals and stop preying on regular girls is what I'd say to them.

Arent these men paying these women to interact with them on line?
If so then by what definition is that not porn?
If one pays for goods or services that is ok unless it is porn?[8|]

You are putting both together.
1) Pay a reputable professional who specialise in your fantasy,

Why can't I hire a gifted amature?

fine, and seriously it's her job, and she needs referals or more business, so you won't get blackmailed and since it's her job, she won't get hurt.
2) Watch Porn, it's not live, the other lady feelings cannot get hurt.

You dont get out much do you? Live porn is all over the place...I can't go to any of my favorite porn sites(the free ones)without live cam girls hitting on my screen.

3) Randomly find some vulnerable chick online to flash wank yourself to, and treat her like an object,

I am 69 years old and have yet to meet a "vulnerable chick", where do they hang out???I am sooooooo tired of paying for it[:D]

With all the warnings posted and spoken everywhere about not putting yourself out there on the internet, if anyone gets "caught", it's their own fault, IMO. Some people just need to learn things the hard way.

Clearly, in your view, they deserve to be victims of a crime.

"had it coming (informal)
if someone had it coming, something bad happened to them which they deserved (often + to )

So.... Muse got it right. Absolutely spot-on in fact.
Sorry windchymes, you did say exactly what Muse said you did using a different phrase meaning the same thing.

Everyone is scantily clad in my country,

Bullshit

tank tops and micro shorts, super short mini skirts, even if they are not going to a party, because it's 100% humidity 24/7 and the sun is burning hot here,

I rode a pushbike from bangkok to singapore. I am not unaware of the climate on the malay penensual.

You rode into Singapore and you don't see scantily clad women all over the streets??? Are you blind? Did you ever go Orchard road in the afternoon? Our women here flash alot of skin, and it's not unnoticed by Caucasian dudes usually.

That street sceen is no different than any shopping mall in s. california. That is not showing a lot of skin...that is normal.

Local boys are used to it, so they don't care. Also, probably also, I always say this, when our local women has no boobs or ass, and they wear tank tops and micro shorts, nobody blinks an eye, because there are no curves, so it does not attract sexual attention. Now put a woman with boobs and ass on the same attire, and then she looks overtly sexual. It's probably why you didn't notice too.

Beuwbs not so much but butts[:-]like yours are a delight.

quote:

Perhaps "global warming" is more prevelent in your zip code. When I was there (summer of 1967) nite time temps were typically in the 80's hardly a sauna.

If you were here only back in the 80's, probably why you didn't see scantily clad women then, because it was the 80's, and also, yes there were less skycrapers, although still alot then, but not as much as now, it's freaking sauna at night out here. I'm always sweating like a pig being outside.

It was 1967 not the 80's

See this picture, woman on the left, tank top, micro shorts and flip flop or ballerina flats, most typical everyday attire of a Singaporean woman on the streets.

Just like when I was there...that is not scantily clad. You can see that in any shopping mall in the u.s.

I imagine if it's a woman with big boobs and big butt, spilling out, it would be scantily clad with the same gear :)

So what do you consider scantily clad? They are already showing legs right up to below their buttcheeks. And well, no front view, but they're probably flat, so nothing to see.

I believe a regular woman in a club exposes just about that much skin, full legs, cleavage IF they have any and full arms, upper chest and shoulders but will be accuse of dressing as a sex tease. Now these girls just need to change their flip flops to super high hot red heels, and the whole look will start looking more sexual. It's the casual flip flop and ballerina flats that plays it down, and it's like seeing a woman with a bikini at a beach.

AND, here we go... A raped person never has it coming.

That would be my opinion also

That's just some sick crap some twisted (rape mentality) types say to blame the victim, but more importantly, to encourage and support the pandemic of rape.

In the u.s. the crime stats seem to indicate that it has seen a steady reduction in the past 8 or 10 years. Lets hope that trend continues.

This completely different situation involves two consenting adults, who engaged in risky play, that any adult knows, entails the risk of exposure. Pun intended. What happened to these guys was awful but the consequence is loss of privacy.
At no point, did these guys risk having genitals ripped, their bodies broken, contracting AIDS, etc... is it getting clear now?

We are not comparing the quality of two crimes. We are discussing the logical falacy that one crime is wrong and the other is simply a case of the victim being stupid.
The facts are that they are both crimes and to say that one victim "had it comming" "deserves no sympathy" and the other victim did not....
Is it getting clear now?

So, if a person has the mentality of a rapist, they are not going to be able to see the extreme difference in the two scenarios.

So according to you anyone who does not see this exactly your way has a rapist mentality. I think you are mistaken.

Sorry Greta, I am (reluctantly) with tommy on this one. That's a pretty regular scene in the western world.
That scene wouldn't be considered "scantily clad" here either.
In fact, I regularly see a shitload more skin with women of all shapes and sizes walking in and out of our local supermarket.
And bear in mind our average temperature and humidity is waay lower than where you are.

Ummm no. Pic being shopped arround no crime...black male, extorsion = crime

Definitely not rape.

I have not said it was rape. I have not said it was equivilant to rape. I said it is a crime and you attitude is less than sympathetic to the victim. That you view crimes against your gender sympathy worthy and not crimes against men is instructive.

Rape is a woman going into these dudes homes and tying them up and assfucking them with a dildo.

A 400 # person in that garb would be considered "eye polution.

Nobody wears that to party unless that is the theme. Initially, you were talking about what women wear at parties that could potentially get them in trouble.

That is the answer to the question you asked as to what I thought constituted "scantilly clad"...it has little to do with anything else.
