Um, it is seriously not illegal to chew gum at all. I always get gum from Malaysia, wave it infront of the police and offer them gum, never got arrested. The law is no selling gum, NOT no chewing gum. It's very clear to all of us locals that we can freely chew gum if they are purchased from another country.

You live there and I do not so you would have a better idea of what goes on.

I really believe in corporal punishment. You barely see any graffiti around anywhere, so clearly it works. Nobody wants to end up like Michael Fay.

My understanding is that there are many offenses that one may be cained for besides grafitti.
My understanding is that people are still being cained?
If that is true then how can you say it works?

This is a mainly American forum, Staleek. I've learned over the years here that the phrase 'I have no sympathy for [X]' is actually the mark of a highly moral person.

Interesting, Mod3.

We aren't speaking of 'young' girls at all - unless you are reading something we can't see.

And, the topic is about a bunch of stoopid men who didn't think with their big head and got caught in some opportunist online 'sextortion'.
The way females dress and how men get caught up in such crimes are most certainly relevant and within acceptable thread drift IMHO.

We call it 'sticky beak' over here - essentially, over moderation on quite relevant tangents.

Check out post 74. You are welcome.

Man, this thread's got it all. Horny net geeks getting blackmailed, in-depth descriptions of how women in Singapore dress, the dizzying levels of legality of chewing gum, caning, and now mod taunting. Someone call me when there's a Bollywood dance number and this one's goin' epic! [:)]
