ORIGINAL: subrob1967 But the usual suspects are mute when the President outs the HEAD CIA SPOOK in a country we're at war with. Is anyone surprised by the hypocrisy? I'm shocked I tell you, simply shocked! Well, first, an accidental outing isn't the same as intentional retribution via treason. But second, it's pretty gross incompetence, and certainly not acceptable, to say the least. Let's not re-elect him. It was an error by the person who issued the press release. A hell of a long stretch to blame the President. I agree, however, he probably will not get re-elected. Agreed about the President's personal responsibility. However, it *is* a serious breach, and someone who's in charge of someone in charge of someone answers to the President -- and messed up. Truman was right on this one -- the buck stops at the President's desk. Granted, someone else (or someones else) is probably without a job now.
