The USA currently spends about $18 Billion a year for Border and Customs Control. Looks like we'll have to spend even more on these inefficient enforcement policies.

The United States has created an enormous deportation machinery. The budget for border security and immigration enforcement in now $18 Billion dollars a year -- substantially more than the budget for all other federal law-enforcement agencies combined (the F.B.I., the D.E.A., the Secret Service, the U.S. Marshalls, and the A.T.F.).

The machinery exists, it has its political incentives, and because it targets are weak, its accountability is slight, its impunity is great.

Hell the average person can see the bs in all of this.

I look at these pix of the kids as they are picked up, dressed clean, no tears in the clothes no scratches, no dirt, and after a trek across the country of mexico with no water, food, shelter.

you ever watch your kids play outside all day, do they come in clean, not sweaty, no dirt, no 'skid' marks. Not likely.

I gotta say this is all bulllll sheittteie and somptin' else is goin on and nobody wants us to know what it is. that 4 bil is about somptin else. more debt to china?

and they want to build a railroad to the us. why? so when they forclose on our dept they can relocate some of their rich folks over here?

What is going on really? Perhaps you could learn to read, and understand English, they are being transferred from a Federal (overcrowded) facility in Texas, to a Federal (also overcrowded) facility in California.

They are not Mexican and cannot be fast tracked. They have to stand in front of a judge before deportation. It is the law. Thats why everything is taking so long.
