Any idiot can sit around predicting doomsday, and it's no more help than the people doing business as usual. In fact, it's worse, because it's a waste of mental and emotional energy. Start working on solutions, even if small, and do them. Today. Anything else is just whining.

Agreed, it's what I'm in school for. Except I'm Canadian, any solution I could come up with or any Canadian or foreigner could come up with for american problems would likely be faced with blatant hatred of anything different or new. It's a running theme with americans unfortunately.

Well considering we have very few shootings, gays can marry, we have universal healthcare and we're number 7 on the peace index, I'd say things have actually been going pretty well so far. I just hope you guys make a come back on the world stage, your people are going through crap I couldn't even imagine and you have the obvious potential for so much more than this.
