Yes, the 20th Maine with a few unhappy 'volunteers' from another Maine regiment.............I'm not sure which one but what Chamberlain did was against all the rules of warfare as they were known at that time and he beat seven bells of crap out of the Alabama regiment opposing him. Thank the gods that wars aren't fought like that any more. I toured the battlefield there many years ago and yes, it was very sad and very moving.

FR Not that it's any of my business, being a Brit and all, but it does kind of seem as though you folks would be defeating the object somewhat to go through all that struggle to gain independence from us only then to blow yourselves up with whatever ordnance you can buy, make or otherwise cook up.
