Start a thread "polite" sub, and I could join in.

quote:

ISIS is Using an All-Women Brigade to Enforce Sharia Law in Syria

"Jihad is not a man-only duty. Women must do their part as well," Abu Ahmad, a spokesman for ISIS in Syria told Syria Deeply.

In the city of Raqqa, where last week ISIS ambushed and killed more than 50 Syrian soldiers, the Sunni militant group has established an all-female unit tasked with policing other women under ISIS’s rigid interpretation of Sharia law.

"[T]he brigade raided the city's Hamida Taher Girls School and arrested 10 students, two teachers and a secretary on the grounds that some of them were wearing veils that were too thin. Others were accused of wearing hair clips under the veil, pinning them in a way that showed too much of their faces," activist Abu al-Hamza told Syria Deeply.

More baiting, more bollocks, more trolling, more of the same from you. You aimed the post about ransoms at me for some stupid reason only known to yourself, that is unless you class all of Europe as one country. Like America, we also have a public stance to not pay ransoms, although I am at least smart enough to suspect the reality with both nations differs.

Lets get on to the post above. So now you are taking some terrorist spokesperson as gospel...... fucking laughable. ISIS are media savvy, more than I can say about you.

mnottertail -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/1/2014 2:47:26 PM)

You. cuz you dont post and comment on news articles. you post horseshit from blogs and unknowledgeable nutsackers, and then comment on something that doesnt even have anything to do with that.

Fair enough.

What course of U.S. action do you advocate?

Its a little late but the airstrikes that Iraq requested early on would have been a huge help. Right now? Offering Iraq support, material support, intelligence support, aircraft, weaponry, spare parts and even some additional training if they want it from us.

This business of ISIS building a caliphate right under our nose is a really bad sign of things to come and it amazes me that we are just allowing it to happen.

Unfortunately I think that's pointless. We were there for years training their military and providing them with equipment and weapons. All of that gear is now in the hands of ISIS. Handing out more, especially without putting troops on the ground to provide more training and back them up, isn't going to do any good.

I'm not advocating sending troops back in their, I honestly have no idea what option makes sense at this point.

I've always been partial to carpet bombing.

A devastating air campaign and possibly ground troops is about the only thing that could stop them in Iraq. If they move on into Syria carpet bombing gains ground, I mean how could you hit the good guys.

ISIS is already in Syria

tweakabelle -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/2/2014 12:48:47 AM)

Heaven forbid that I come between any armchair general and a nice bit of carpet bombing but aren't you guys overlooking the slightly uncomfortable fact that the USA and ISIS are on the same side in Syria?

Right anyone who thinks training is the answer now is a fool.

Thanks for the guffaw. Are you too fucking thick to see that starting posts mentioning me as "polite" sub is indeed a personal attack ?

Sanity -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/3/2014 6:21:46 AM)

Again, every post

Sanity -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/3/2014 7:11:30 AM)

By referring to you as "polite" sub I am not attacking you, I am trying to give you a hint about how you appear to others on here. I am only trying to help you see how you constantly make a mockery of yourself.

You live to tear other people down who you obviously see as threats. You have no ability to debate honestly so you use the crutch of these constant personal attacks as a substitute for intellect. You might actually be a nice person but on here you present yourself as rude and very small minded, and you rarely actually contribute to a thread. You seem determined stop all honest discussion with these derails about the individuals posting, in every thread and with every post.

Really, in all honesty, why not switch your nickname to "troll sub" or something more appropriate like that?

And I am returning the favour. By calling you a racist arsehole I am trying to give you a hint as to how others see you.

If you feel I tear down posts as I see others as threats you need to jog on. I call bullshit when I see it, the fact I am plain spoken makes it hard for some of you to deal with. As for the post I copied...... laughable bullshit, even by your low standards. I can debate very well, just not with racists or bigots.
