Its a little late but the airstrikes that Iraq requested early on would have been a huge help. Right now? Offering Iraq support, material support, intelligence support, aircraft, weaponry, spare parts and even some additional training if they want it from us.

This business of ISIS building a caliphate right under our nose is a really bad sign of things to come and it amazes me that we are just allowing it to happen.

A devastating air campaign and possibly ground troops is about the only thing that could stop them in Iraq. If they move on into Syria carpet bombing gains ground, I mean how could you hit the good guys.

Unfortunately I think that's pointless. We were there for years training their military and providing them with equipment and weapons. All of that gear is now in the hands of ISIS. Handing out more, especially without putting troops on the ground to provide more training and back them up, isn't going to do any good.

I'm not advocating sending troops back in their, I honestly have no idea what option makes sense at this point.

By referring to you as "polite" sub I am not attacking you, I am trying to give you a hint about how you appear to others on here. I am only trying to help you see how you constantly make a mockery of yourself.
