Cruz......... That wanker as marginally less credibility than you do. he chides Obama re the split between Sunni and Shia and suggests they cant work together. This is the same Shia goverment hastily installed in power by Bush and co, despite GWB not even knowing there were two major Islamic sects in Iraq.

Maybe it was Georgie boy Cruz was thinking of when he stated the following (its in your link)

“History has taught us that America gets in trouble in military engagements when we get involved on the whims of politicians, without a clearly defined objective.” Cruz said.

Cruz is also talking shit when he claims ISIS is working alongside the Free Syria Army. It isnt, it wasnt, not from the start.

Yet another rabid right wing fascist bashes our poor, hard working, hapless president for doing such a fantastic job on foreign policy...

Clinton blames Islamic militants rise on Obama policies

Washington (AFP) - Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton blamed the rise of Islamist militants in Iraq and Syria on failures of US policy under President Barack Obama, in an interview published Sunday.

Clinton specifically faulted the US decision to stay on the sidelines of the insurgency against Syria's President Bashar al-Assad as opening the way for the most extreme rebel faction, the Islamic State...

..."One of the reasons why I worry about what's happening in the Middle East right now is because of the breakout capacity of jihadist groups that can affect Europe, can affect the United States," she said. "Jihadist groups are governing territory. They will never stay there, though. They are driven to expand. Their raison d'etre is to be against the West, against the Crusaders, against the fill-in-the-blank—and we all fit into one of these categories.

"How do we try to contain that? I'm thinking a lot about containment, deterrence, and defeat," she said.

What, are you on about catholics again?

Try doing a Google search for the following two quoted terms:

"Catholics attack Muslims" -- you'll find TWO results from some bulletin boards from 2011

One would think that even a moron would have heard about the crusades.
Had you ever had access to a history book written for someone beyond the fifth grade you might have known that there were more than two cursades or the reasons behind them.

Sanity -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/10/2014 6:41:25 PM)

And btw, Ted Cruz is a United States Senator...

Who are you again?

No, I've never heard of the Crusades. Per your previous post, that would make me "ignorant," not an "idiot." But "idiot" is closer to "moron" than it is to "ignorant," so perhaps you've changed your mind?

Incidentally, those Crusades, the things I've never heard of ... more historians have started to argue that the Muslims weren't just the oppressed there. But how would I know since I haven't heard of them, because ... I is ignorant.

Arab Christians, Arab Zoroastrians, and Arab Yazidis, among others, do not clamour for jihad. Nor do Arab atheists, agnostics, Jews or other non-Muslims. Nor do the minorities who adhere to a different interpretation of Islam. Small minorities.

BTW, the jihad isn't limited to Iraq. Muslims yesterday attacked Yazidis in Germany, too. There is no escaping the jihad.

No, they don't. But when you have about 1 billion Muslims (round numbers) and even 10% clamor for jihad, 100 million holy warriors is a bit much for my taste. And many surveys, Pew included, suggest the number is substantially higher although still less than 50%.

Trivialize........ Do you mean like you do, by using the situation to try and score political points ?

Oh yeah, because that's SO rare around here. Why is it only about scoring political points when it's being done by someone you disagree with?

There are horrible atrocities in the Congo, Myanmar, Chad, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Darfur, and the Central African Republic.

But no one cares until they think it will make points for US politics.

The fake outrage is sickening and merely mocks true human suffering.

I know this is a difficult concept for you, but we are discussing things people are doing today. The crusades ended a long time ago and are irrelevant to the conversation.

Quoted for laughs...

You clowns are so self righteous. The same sort of argument could be made for practically any topic raised here

Youve been on the thread from day one

How is it that you feel you can get away with trying to pretend that the loss of countless ancient artifacts is the only issue raised here

Musicmystery -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/11/2014 8:49:39 AM)

How is it you feel that cherry picking your fauxrage is anything other than blind partisan puppetry?

Parrot to your hearts content -- it's a free country. But you can stop pretending you give a damn about human suffering. Unless there's political points in it.

No wonder the world is full of monsters.

Save it for someone else.

Talk about faux outrage...

You are truly desperate for political points.

Sanity -> RE: ISIS Destroying Relics (8/11/2014 9:06:44 AM)

Heres something else to send the indignant, self-righteous little leftist trolls a little further round the bend

(How dare you talk about the issues, man!!!)

After basing his entire 2008 campaign on pulling our troops out of Iraq, Barack blames the horribly misguided decision to pull US troops out of Iraq on George Bush...

Obamas latest whopper: If you like the troops, you can keep them in Iraq

And I don't care if the little trollish creatures like the link or not, its all verifiable hard news
