A song used as incidental music on an episode of CSI grabbed my ear and yanked my head around... checked the credits and bought the album.

See how you like The Kongos

Check out Dead Unicorn - Last Call: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWyNnUfORuc

Thanks!
Interesting band. The music is great! But the guy vocals is not emo enough for me ha, if they can have a better vocalist, it would be perfect! It's like punk vocals with emo hardcore-ish music.
But then, I think his not mastered how to sing and drum properly in that specific clip. As his singing sounds lack of focus trying to focus on drumming.
I'm trying to find the studio version on Youtube but it does not exist! Wanna see how he sings without drumming.

This is another band, that is amazing with a drummer who sings! And it's fast moving punk rock, so the drumming is crazy, yet he could maintain his vocals solidly.

I am at the moment crazy about this cover of My Immortal by Pellek
When Evanescence came out with it, I thought the song sucked and never liked it.
But Pellek brought up the proper emotions of the song, which surprises me, he usually suck at emotional songs. He made me like the song now.

And my mainstream music for the day is Matthew Koma, Suitcase. No heavy stuffs! Easy Listening!

Nice. I particularly liked the guys bass sound.

There are studio albums, a couple of them are free to download. Each one of their albums is themed on global disaster... cheerful stuff.

Thanks :) Looks like his just a poor vocalist if the studio still sounds bad. A pity, this song has huge potential with the right vocalist. Someone should cover this!

Did some one say some'n bout the 70's and punk?

I love good'ol punk,mostly the stuff from the 80's thou(X,Black Flag,Dead Kennedys,Angry Samoans,Circle Jerks,Toy Dolls,ect.)

Some other notable "noise" that I can't seem to get enough of
Early synth Punk,The Units-Cannibals
Some more of my favorite "noise" Pere Ubu-Golden Surf II(new track, yeah, they still got "it")
Suburban Lawns-Flying Saucer Safari
Some great post-punk, Mission to Burma-Academy Fight Song

and now fer something a lil completely different
Mr.Bungle-Carousel(one of those bands who are not afraid to completely throw out a melody half way through a song and return to it and throw it out again, some real fun vocalizations too....really recommend a listen)
and in keeping with a noisy clown theme
Clown Vomit-Cereal

I used to listen to tons of metal in my angsteir days(will allways have a soft spot in my heart fer slayer, and listened to nuff slip knot to really get a kick outta this)
but I find myself listening to less and less of it,with a few exceptions
Fucked Up-Son the Father, one of those songs that's just perfect, very intense yet serene.
Red Fang-Wires,(these guys rule at making fun videos, the music is top notch too)
TruckFighters-Desert Cruise
Orange Goblin-Rage of Angles(probably more Hard Rock then Metal)
Black Pyramid-Visions Of Gehenna
Stoned Jesus-Black Woods
Bongzilla - Amerijuanican
As you can probably already tell,I'm a big fan of "Stoner Metal".

Just for fun,a cover of the AC/DC song thunderstruck as performed on a banjo

Fuck Yeah,I was wondering who this was(heard it on a commercial)

Isn't it sad that tv shows and commercials play a better selection of music then radio stations?
