The Arabs insist upon their right to exterminate Jews. your intent or not when you support them that is what you support.
Are Jews perfect? NO
Is Israel perfect? NO
Do Hamas and many Arab nations want to exterminate the Jews, only if they mean what they say.

There are prominent righties in Israel who are demanding the deaths of all Palestinians. Ayelet Shaked is one, for instance. What we have, now, is the standard sort of talk of 'destroy the tyrants' by the subjugated, matched by the 'exterminate the terrorists' talk of the oppressors. That's how it's *always* been, for time immemorial.

The difference is that while it is POLICY for those Arab nations and groups it is not policy for Israel.

Well I suppose if they could plant bombs in the trade center towers while it was being built in order to create the illusion of planes flying into them years and years in the future anything is possible. [8D]

As our borders are being overrun some of these undocumented Democrats from Honduras and Guatemala are dropping Muslim prayer rugs and Korans etc

Yes, Islam, the dominant religion of South America.

At least you're worth a laugh here and there.

Ah... So you got your black belt in sarcasm detection from the same crackerjack box as your constantly drunken female associate...

Sanity -> RE: The current middle eastern crisis is Israels fault... (7/21/2014 12:50:02 PM)

(That was more sarcasm btw)

Well if your concern is they are democrats perhaps you shouldn't tell them you don't want them and they won't think you're an asshole. As to the rugs and Korans, we have a lot of Muslims here. No big deal. I live near Dearborn and while you may find it hard to believe, they are people just everyone else and have just as much right to be here as anyone else. If the kids are allowed to stay they also will have just as much right to be here no matter which god they look to.

if not a shield, why isnt he towards the back with the guys in the background? Prisoners on point are a shield.

Yea cause you never know when someone will run over and shoot him in the ass.

mnottertail -> RE: The current middle eastern crisis is Israels fault... (7/21/2014 1:29:38 PM)

Thats what the guys in the background in that picture are doing besides standing in the open and jacking their fuckin dicks.

thishereboi -> RE: The current middle eastern crisis is Israels fault... (7/21/2014 1:33:53 PM)

Gosh I am sorry, I thought you were going to have an adult conversation for a change and not just ramble on. Silly me.

mnottertail -> RE: The current middle eastern crisis is Israels fault... (7/21/2014 1:51:38 PM)

I am having an adult conversation with someone who is definitely non-military background and whos opening salvo is:

So, given the fact that I am dealing with an untutored soul here, cuz I wouldn't think you were being a hit and run sound biter....it could seem I am talking down to you. But you got some growing up to do as well.

The guys in the back are not engagement alert, and are more or less milling around in a safe area, the guy with the gun and the kid is on point, the kid could be sent back to the rear guard. He is a shield.

Seriously, who cares? The Palestinians don't have a hope in hell of achieving that 'policy objective' and everybody, including the Israelis and Palestinians themselves, know it. At present the Israelis are killing the Palestinians at the rate of more than 20:1 in their favour. Who gives a crap if the slaughter is happening 'by accident' rather than by stated policy?

tweakabelle -> RE: The current middle eastern crisis is Israels fault... (7/21/2014 3:51:48 PM)

Here are links to two independent perspectives on the current onslaught in Gaza.

The first is from a Norwegian surgeon volunteering in a hospital in Gaza:
http://spokesmanbooks.blogspot.com.au/
Prof. Maddsen rather cheekily invites Obama to spend a night in his hospital, feeling certain that just a single one night stay would be sufficient to spark a radical change in US policy. Imagine having to live under these conditions 24/7.

The second is from an (ex-)Israeli Jew renouncing his Israeli citizenship in disgust at Israeli policies and behaviour.
http://mondoweiss.net/2014/07/renouncing-israeli-citizenship.html

IMHO, both perspectives are credible and compelling. The humanity of both men shines through the horrors they describe. By way of contrast, check out Israeli Minister Bennett's callous defence of the IDF's targetting and slaughtering 4 Palestinian kids playing football on the beach in Gaza: http://unitedwithisrael.org/hamas-commits-massive-self-genocide-economy-minister-naftali-bennett-says/

So the winners are automatically wrong.
And if the Arabs succeed and exterminate the Jews we can it will then be ok to be critical of them. Late but ok.

That's far more than a jump.

Quick Response (not linked to any singular person).

I'm constantly amazed at how many have an opinion about shit they know nothing about.

None of you....know shit.

tweakabelle -> RE: The current middle eastern crisis is Israels fault... (7/21/2014 4:40:23 PM)

Perhaps BamaD or boi, if either or both of them can tear themselves away from parroting Israeli propaganda, can explain this video of Israeli troops using 2 Palestinian youths as human shields:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAU8N-TQEdA ;

Or this case of 2 IDF soldiers being convicted by an Israeli court of using an 11 year old Palestinian child as a human shield : http://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/oct/03/israel-soldiers-human-shield-palestinian

For all their bellyaching about Palestinians using human shields, the evidence suggests that Israelis are at least just as bad, and that IDF members use Palestinian youths as human shields regularly if not systematically. As is so often the case, the Israelis themselves are guilty of precisely the crimes they accuse their opponents of committing.

So worst case Israelis are as bad as Hamas (since your sources have no bias at all LOL) and this means we have to back the ones who also want us dead.
Funny how people get their info from sources like thinkprogress are the first ones to whine about parroting.

Pallywood!

Notice some things about this video clip. Traffic on the road is at normal speed and rhythm. There is no crowd noise (where are the stone throwers?). The "shields" are completely unconcerned, they do not have their heads shielded or in any way protect themselves in case stones are thrown. Why doesn't the cameraman approach closely enough to identify IDF uniforms, clearly the reporter is willing to get close enough to speak to them but not close enough to get a clear shot of them?

The video could be legit but with the history of faked footage coming out Palestinian areas I always view any footage skeptically and that one has too many red flags.

The US public may have much more power to intervene positively in these affairs than it may appear. For example look at the role the people of the US insisted that the Vietnam war was brought to a close.

Over 50,800 American lives were lost in the Vietnam madness and guys were being drafted unless they had some kind of exemption. We had so much more invested in Vietnam. Additionally, Muslims have very little good will in America today. I could recite the number of events since 1962 that identified Arabs as Terrorists. There is no sympathy for the Palestinians here despite what appears to be outrageous, continuing oppression by the Israelis. Sad to say. :(

You don't need a military background to see the angle you would have to be at to shoot at the soldier and hit the kid. Now perhaps if you had the need of a shield you would hold it below your ass but most people hold them up in front of them. And since there was no story included all anyone can do based on the pics is guess.
