ORIGINAL: Moderator3 Just a reminder. A number of posts have been removed from this thread by Mod7. Pictures of minors in any shape or condition, especially dead ones, really are not acceptable. I have suffered a great loss personally and am dealing with family and now moderators and forum issues. I will ask that you all not challenge the moderators because if I have to keep coming in, I will have to take swift action, so that I can deal with the family grief. I'm sorry, but that is the way I will have to deal with this for the moment. I really am sorry. I asked for an email from Mod 7 because I had hoped to deal with this without a lot of drama. I understand that your having a tough time, and I really don't want to take up your time. I am not going to challenge your powers of censorship. I simply want to set the record straight on one important little detail. The link to the news story that you removed that someone else put up and the photo I posted were of a woman who was 18 years and 6 months old at the time of her death. She was not a minor, so there have been precisely zero pictures of minors posted here. -SD- Thank you, but my powers of censorship include pictures that are too graphic and insensitive to the victim/family and other members, so while the poor dead woman isn't a minor and you may have a point, I am still allowing the picture to remain removed. To avoid the drama, whether in email or on the forum, you might consider that moderators are human, and without timely research/reading and when something just needs to go, the reason can be multiple reasons, one of which may be used without the other. Call it what you will, but I still call this drama whether it is here or in email. I do believe the parents sued to have the picture taken off the web if I got this right and mod7 made a good call to remove the picture for any reason. Shrugs, I don't see why its a major deal, but whatever. The pic is gone and that's that. You can request that a moderator do something, but when I instruct them to handle a matter a certain way, that is also a that's that situation. We can now return to the thread.
