Could be that that is why she is hoping Bachmann gets it. They can't run on the strength of their own candidate so they have hope whoever the right picks is even worse.

You can do what I do in that case, MrRodgers. I simply don't have my cable box tuned to Fox News Channel. I never know when some maroon might be on, so I tend to not ever have the channel on. I was spared all the melodrama and horseshit until election night 2012 (when I did tune in to see how things were shaking out; and, shortly thereafter, went to bed).

Most new TV's do come with this awesome feature. It's called a "Power" switch. When there is nothing on TV that you want to watch, or you don't want to see what is on TV, you can "switch" the power to "off," and you won't have to worry about seeing shit you don't want to see. Technology never ceases to amaze...

You are SUCH a cheerleader, Lucy. One accomplishment that I hope will never be taken away from President Obama is just how far he lowered the bar in terms of who can be taken seriously as a candidate for President of the United States.

Zero experience at the executive level.

Hadn't even completed a single term in the US Senate.

No record of legislative accomplishment.

No experience in business.

No experience in the military.

Zero leadership experience - not even captain of his high school basketball team.

Take them all seriously, Lucy - if things stay on track the way they are, your team is going to be losing to the other one for a long time to come.

You said you were going to let us know when one appeared, you never asked for a name. But I am not surprised to see lie about it. And I am sorry but the election is years in the future, I have better things to do than worry about this shit right now. She looked good on paper, and you might want to recognize the political chops of a messenger who tells you who the Veep nominee is going to be, a week before the campaign announces it, whether you like the message or not.
