The old guys were the guys to beat, and now at 55, I'm the guy to beat.

Everyone's shooting for/at me.

(Like I was shooting for/at them).

It's nice to know that I covered my butt but, it's rather striking....I guess I never expected it (kinda dumb actually)....that they'd come shooting for me.

It's actually kind of fun but, it's also a wake up call....I've only got 5 - 10 years left and then....it's their game.

The next generation....and...have at it.

It's kind of fun actually....little bit of a battle but, one I'll likely lose because....I'm happy to launch my sailboat and have a nice ride :)

I kinda like it....it suggests that I've finally made it....that they can come after me. Gives me something to fight for :)

Like I said....another 5 - 10 years and they can have it....until then....draw swords :)

Age and study will always blow away youth and strength. :)

If you're really happy with where you are at 55, that's very unusual and you are right to be consciously enjoying it.
