I read it as a sardonic reference to Obama's tendency of focusing on nugatory tasks instead of salient ones. The only thing Obama has murdered is the Constitution.

Saying he's looking for the real killer doesn't equate him to O.J. as a murderer; the connection is between the pursuit of that which does not exist in reality.

McCarthy is not a neocon. Neocons advocate intervention even when there is not a direct national interest. There are plenty of neocons, yes, but you misread him entirely if you think he shares their worldview. Successful prosecutor, far more a Constitutional scholar than Lord Obama, an incisive, rational, compelling writer ... yes, I'd consider him an authority and his prosecutorial case is in fact compelling.

Referring to WTC 93, there was no feather in anybody's cap for that monumental incompetence and bombing the FBI could have easily prevented. If I was FBI or DOJ, I wouldn't want any of that on my resume. 6 people died that clearly should not have.

McCarthy BTW is a republican and he's been writing repub hack jobs ever since he left the DOJ in 2003. Here
