Just some examples from this article:

You will have to stop one of those if you expect to catch any fish.

Hello Mark. Speaking of fishing...

I bought a a small eight pound Chinook salmon off of a commercial fishing boat in Newport Oregon yesterday for seventy dollars so we could grill it over the campfire last night, while vacationing in the area

Made me realize that the fish I catch aren't as expensive as I had been assuming previously, even accounting for the cost of gas and the jet boat and all the gear

Throw in the quality of the time spent on the water and theres a plenty of gravy in the deal

Just wondering...

Is it bad, if a big far left-handed golfer like Barack Obama, loses the New York Times?

Things like this show just how truly evil Obama is. Look at Dowd -- she is a typical elitist, left-leaning journalist, with a huge following and a large income. I almost never agree with her on anything. Yet, here is Dowd also showing that in spite of our huge ideological difference, she still possesses basic human decency. Of course, she was bamboozled by Obama, too, but that's not the point. The point is that most, but not all, Obama acolytes aren't evil, but just deluded. They, too, cannot believe what Obama is doing. They have run into cognitive dissonance -- how can The One behave ... well, worse, than Dick Cheney? But here it is.

It is precisely these qualities that show that while Dowd is often mistaken and often very sharp-tongued about it, even she cannot tolerate Obama now. That's because she has humanity and he has none. Never has had it -- nor Michelle -- never will. He is an empty sociopathic soul without an ounce of self-reflection or morality.

That's only until the DOJ fines you for using a racist name like "Chinook" to describe the fish; the EPA fines you for failing to catch the fish only during the time when the gibbous moon is visible; the state fines you for using a jet boat in a "salmonic habitat"; etc.

Dowd wishes Obama could be Bill Clinton.

In case you didn't know, there's a whole group of women who simply hate golfing men, and I'm pretty sure Dowd is one.

The Golfing thing is all about appearances -- very far from anything substantial; because Obama now can golf with impunity -- I like the fact that he does so. Going back to DC, holing up in the the White House, or getting on Air Force One wouldn't really impact world events any.

Obama is on vacation, and he's going to take it. He does not have to worry about being elected a third term.

So, let me ask you straight up. You want him being more activist -- say passing executive Orders - or do you want him golfing?

I'm sure you wouldn't like him brushing his teeth, but if he had to be doing something to make you happier, what would it be?

You know, in any of these discussions I have yet to see a hard factual data comparison to the amount of vacation that George W. took compared to Obama at the same times in their Presidency.

Let's see some data to support that Obama is out of office more than he is there. Or do facts just get in the way of bullshit?

Not counting Obama's current vacation, he has played 186 rounds of golf. Bush played only 24. Counting the time Bush spent at the "Texas White House," he took more vacation days, but not megabuck luxury world-tripping vacations like the Obamas.

Too funny, look up the 11th ward of Chicago some time, a neighborhood called Canaryville in particular. I can honestly say they were the most racist people I've ever known... And they really didn't vote for anyone with that lil R.

That's 31 rounds a year -- about the minimum of any semi-serious golfer. In the last six years I've probably played tennis 624 times, which amounts to twice a week.

31 rounds is way less than once a week.

If Obama simply played golf 1x a week, he'd have golfed 312 times.

I like the fact that Obama is a sportman and keeps in shape. Physical fitness, clearing one's mind, getting the stress out -- these are all vitally important to any successful person -- especially the President of the United States.

What would you prefer he be doing? Passing more executive orders? Ordering 100,000 troops back into IRAQ? It really doesn't matter -- you just hate having a black man as the President of the country.

Its a shame you could answer Gauges question without obfuscation (from your same source)

On Aug. 8, 2014, Knoller tweeted that Obama had taken 19 vacations totaling 125 days so far while in office. Those numbers have risen a bit due to the Martha’s Vineyard vacation, but that’s still many fewer than George W. Bush’s 65 combined trips to his Texas ranch and his parents’ home in Kennebunkport, Maine, which totaled 407 days at the same point in his presidency.

Not included in this data are trips to the Camp David presidential retreat in western Maryland, which Knoller doesn’t count as "vacation." Knoller told Yahoo! News that, through Aug. 12, 2014, Obama had made 33 visits to Camp David for all or part of 84 days, while Bush had been there 108 times for all or part of 341 days.

or that By Knoller’s count, Obama played 186 rounds of golf during his presidency through Aug. 12, according to Yahoo! News. That number that has gone up a bit since then due to additional rounds on Martha’s Vineyard.

Bush played many fewer rounds as president -- 24, mainly because he stopped in 2003, since it sent the wrong message when troops were fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
or
As for which president has played the most rounds of golf, it’s definitely not Obama. For instance, Dwight Eisenhower played almost 800 rounds during his eight-year presidency, according to a study of his daily itinerary cited in Golf Digest -- many times what Obama has played.

And Eisenhower is not even the No. 1 golf-playing president. Woodrow Wilson played nearly 1,200 rounds during his two terms. Wilson "played more rounds of golf than any president in history," said Wilson’s biographer, A. Scott Berg.

As to the COST of the vacations.... that has been discussed many times

LOL
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—G.O.P. chief Reince Priebus ripped President Obama on Sunday for consuming three meals a day while on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard.

“With international crises boiling over in Iraq, Syria, and Ukraine, it’s unconscionable that the President is having breakfast, lunch, and dinner,” he said.

The White House defended the President’s eating habits, noting that his predecessor, George W. Bush, frequently supplemented his three meals a day with an afternoon snack, but Priebus was unmoved by this argument. “It sends a very dangerous message to our enemies to see President Obama eating,” he said.
