Why not just go for the sexual innuendo and say head? Unless you are saying a head butt, and no, that would more than likely cause an actual eyesocket fracture, cuz that is hella more violent.

There's so many competing "facts" out there, it's hard to know who to believe. Someone earlier posted Brown's rap sheet, but when Ken questioned it I went looking and couldn't find it myself, so what seemed to make sense of the violence is now looking like a false lead. Which is a shame, it seemed like finally something was making sense of all that violence over so much nothing.

I'd probably have to agree with you, if Wilson lost his temper and reached out and choked Brown, then I couldn't condone anything that happened after. I don't recall the autopsy report mentioning any injury to his throat though? You'd think there would at least be bruising or scratches. However, if Brown went through the window himself, and went for Wilson's gun, then what happened next would seem to be on him.

Here is Mr. Chris Rock, who by the way comes from ancestors that were enslaved by the Cherokee Nation and freed by the US and given 40 ac and a Mule. Check it out. I saw him on tv finding that out, he was just plain dumfounded, said something like, "daing and I always thought the Indians were my friends" or something to that effect.

He is a funny guy.

I don't want to come on too hard and have to threaten moderator action. It shouldn't have to go there and that cannot be my only answer. Don't you think?

This area was created so that you all could get down and feisty, but it can go too far. What is the solution? I'm open for suggestion in my email box. The thing is, that we created the Feisty sections so that there would be opportunity for you all to have a choice between strictly moderated forums and less moderation, fewer gold email and less banning. We have accomplished that. Most of you have chosen to use the Feisty section and that is great until you take it too far. Where can we find a balance?

I am not considering that I know anyone's motivation in this, and I am simply saying if his leaning in is due to being grabbed up by the front of his clothing, I would not fault him a bit for popping that dickweed. If he leaned in and whacked the fuck all on his own, and started waltzing off, that would be another situation. The first scenario would explain rationally the events to the gun going off in the car, the second not quite so much but still plausible. It however; as I have repeatedly stated, may not have been the case with equal likelihood, at least at this point, because stories are all over the place from everybody, and that does not get into the stories being peddled by the Entertainment News, and the extremely hip bloggers out there, who are pontificating their inside tracks that they don't have.

I don't know at this point. One way favors Brown, the other way, not so much.

Same here, I tend to give the police the benefit of the doubt, but if they fuck up they fuck up and need to pay for it. What pisses me off, and gets me supporting them heavier then they might always deserve, is how many people will just automatically assume that the police are always guilty of anything and everything they hear about. Police have shitty jobs, and they're already dangerous enough without also insisting they be mind-readers and invulnerable to physical harm. I just don't think an officer should be required to risk his life tackling a crazy guy with a knife for example. Get them some non-lethal weapons that really work. Or give them less-then-lethal gear, but don't bitch if they try not to kill someone and fail. (That's don't bitch in general, not aimed at you by the way) If they'd had those bean-bag shotgun rounds available, both of the current shootings could have been prevented, but those might kill someone, so nope, can't use them. We might get sued!

They have military gear but no personal cameras....I am sure they have tasers. I know they had personal cameras, not distributed, which seems rather lame. It aint much to clip them on like their little ties and flip the switch on.

Dont know what that holdup was. Would have been all over at the outset. So, the Sheriff or Chief got his own issue.
